Odd notification

I just just 5 notifications saying thanks for logging in and that 100 EC had been added to my account. (For the record, I didn't actually get the EC.) I just wondered what the notification spam was about?

I had the same notification and didn't get the 100 EC. So I'm wondering to is it a bug or something else.....
