I'm looking to do an RP...

My fandoms include:
The Mortal Instruments/The Infernal Devices
Ender's Game
Maze Runner
The Hunger Games
Warriors (Cats)
Percy Jackson
Harry Potter
The Fault in Our Stars

But I'm willing to do a non-fandom RP too..
Just name a suggestion! 😊

@sandstorm99
I'm not all that familiar with mortal Instruments or Ender's Game, but if explained, they'll probably make sense to me enough to make a roleplay out of. ^^

Maze Runner kicks serious butt! Although it and the Hunger Games are roleplays that require a lot of characters... I guess making side charcters just for the purpose of killing them isn't really above me XD Kill all the side characters >8D I sound savage, don't I?

Other than that, I can do any of these and would love to. >w<

@jemmie Hey again, friend ^^

@jemmie
I'm confused... ?

@jupiter_hollow
Basically the Mortal Instruments is about Shadowhunters (People that kill demons basically) who draw runes (Like symbols that help them a lot I guess) and they live in the Institute (Which is where they are safe from all demons and downworlders (Which are faeries, werewolves, vampires, and warlocks)) And basically save the world from utter destruction.
Ender's Game is a (I forget the word) Future-istic world (They have super advanced technology) And basically the first book is about the buggers (An alien species) coming to attack them. The International Fleet System is recruiting super smart children to bring to Battle School (Where they are trained heavily). In Battle School they have this game called the Battle Games (Creative, right?) and this is played in zero gravity and they shoot each other with freeze beams and try to take out the entire other army. Basically the children are divided into different armies (Example Dragon, Salamander, Rat, etc.) and in each army is the leader who decides all the tactics they use in the Battle Room (Where they play the Battle Games). In each army there is toon A, B, C, D, and in some cases, E, which all the children in the armies are divided into. Then each toon has a leader which guides their toon (But untimately listens to the Army Leader, or Commander).

Sound interesting? ^ Sorry if it's confusing.. I can explain more if you want to do those

And I'm fine with anything you'd want to do!

@sandstorm99
Well, literacy in a roleplay is measured in how good the grammar, vocabulary and structure of your posts are. Non-literate posts are full of spelling/grammar/structural mistakes. Semi-literate ones seldom contain tiny mistakes and are generally shorter -- a semi-literate roleplay is one that you can relax and post in without worrying too much about the length and quality of your paragraphs. Literate roleplays consist of long, well-written posts, usually with one/two/more large paragraphs. It's kind of pressuring but if you are a veteran roleplayer, then literacy comes around easily for you. ^^

@jemmie Do you usually do literate or semi-literate?

As for the plots, Storm, the both of them sound good. Now I'm conflicted with picking a fandom roleplay. I'm interested in Mortal Instruments/Hunger Games/Maze Runner/Percy Jackson/Fault in Our Stars. While I adore Harry Potter, I think I'd mess up in an HP Roleplay because I kind of struggle with non-canon characters and canon settings in fandom roleplays -- it's easier when I don't roleplay with a set location (like Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry). Hunger Games or the Maze Runner roleplays are set in the same areas as the movies, but the terrain can be changed and, y'know, there's always something alterable. In Hp, you can't change anything, and in general, the time periods are confusing. Then again, we could always try. I'm willing to give it a shot if you're willing to help me through it. =)

Mortal Instruments -- I'm up for creating characters covered in tattoos xD I already have a few of those, to be perfectly honest. I would also love to create demons (demon lord? invicible shadow? anything like that?). I'm into evil...

Maze Runner - YOWZA, the book was amazing, but just thinking of the 2014 movie with Dylan O'Brien coming out makes me convulse on the floor. I am all in for this, especially considering that I usually make boys. =P So I'll definitely contribute to such a roleplay.

Percy Jackson - I've to say I'm conflicted because there are many possibilities to make a roleplay out of this - fighting agaisnt canon monster, creating your own, adding canon characters or not and... well, all that. But power roleplays are pretty expansive and mythology is my element, so a god/goddess descendant plot is something I would love to work with. ^^

Fault in Our Stars - I'm guessing you'd want to do this as a private roleplay since it's centered around two characters? Christ, I usually despise primarily romantic roleplays, but the novel killed my heart and now I don't mind roleplaying it out. I'm sucker for angst and romance - there, it is said. Mind you, I usually make males, so it's understandable why I'm not into romance. But like I said, I'm willing to try for The Fault In Our Stars. This could be made into a private roleplay, as well as a public one -- an institution for cancer patients/people with other illnesses? I'll end up making more than one character anyway. So the decision is entirely up to you.

@jupiter_hollow
In between, I guess. When I'm RPing, I pretty much cringe at every single typo/mistake. However, I don't really like (too) long posts, especially when I'm shorter on time and need to know what's happening.

Thanks for explaining, I'm sort of, um, bad at that stuff.

@jemmie @jupiter_hollow

Oh! Now I get it. Would you be fine with semi-literate? I haven't done any RPs in a while, so I'm not sure I can handle a full on literate RP. Plus I don't think I have amazing grammar.

@jupiter_hollow

Okay, based off of what you said up there ^, I suggest we do a Maze Runner RP. 😋 You might have to help me along because I'm new to RPing. So should we use the original book characters? Or create characters of our own? They would all be in the Glade, right? We would do it off the first book, right? Not the prequels/sequels.
Random: My profile egg is named after the author. 😊

The other choice I was deciding from was the Mortal Instruments. Then I realized the author had written 8 books with a 9th coming out, and explaining it all would be very hard. There's also a lot of confusing information in the books.

@sandstorm99
Semi-literate is okay for me ^^ I usually do semi-literate. ;]

Anywho - we don't have to base the roleplay completely on the books. I'm definitely gonna make original characters for the Maze Runner RP... Same with Mortal Instruments. We could make the roleplay loosely based on the original work itself -- I searched up the Mortal Instruments and figured out most stuff. I know the runes, the powers of the shadowhunters and nephilim. I have nephilim of my own, which I can incorporate in the roleplay. =) do I need to know every detail?
