When typing the security code to buy a travel I get this very annoying dropdown menu of previous security codes.

Mostly it goes up OVER the code so I cant see the code to type (I can only put 3 or 4 digits in my brain at once).

When wanting to buy rare travels it's very annoying and makes me be to slow.

I added a screenie to explain what i mean better. In the screenie it goes down. but 99% of the times it goes up.

Is there a way to disable that dropdown thingy in a single cell?

@yileen The only reason a drop-down menu drops /up/ is because there's not enough space at the bottom to fit the drop-down menu in.
Examples:

I'm not sure about the size of your monitor/screen, but when I go to the Travel Agency, the drop-down always drops down and never up. You're definitely scrolling to the very bottom of the page? (You can just press the 'End' key without entering anything in a textbox to go to the bottom of a page.)

I don't know of a way to change the number of cells in a drop-down menu (Googling comes up with nothing). The only way to remove the drop-down completely is to either delete all the cells in it: press down (or up if the drop-down menu dropped up; or just hover over one of the cells) -> hold Delete until everything has been deleted. Or you can remove the drop-down menus for /all/ drop-downs (that includes forms and searches). You can do this by:

1. Click 'Firefox' in the top left of the window -> Options -> Privacy. If you have the menu bar instead of 'Firefox', click 'Tools' -> Options -> Privacy.
2. Next 'Firefox will:', there's a drop-down menu. Select 'Use custom settings for history', then deselect the checkbox for 'Remember search and form history'.
3. Click 'OK'.

You might just be better off deleting the cells in the drop-down regularly, though. 😋

@yileen
It's not Egg Cave's problem, it's a browser problem. It automatically remembers what you type into certain boxes.

@karamel

Your right. LOL
I click the travel I want to buy. (knowing what it costs)
Firefox automaticly goes to the cel for the amount I want to "bid" on the travel. So I enter the amount I know from the shops page.
Then I press tab to go to the security cel.
I dont touch my mouse when buying.
BUT If i scroll down a little, the dropdown menu goes down and not up xD

Feel pretty stupid now whahaha. Born a blonde....

Also thanks for adding how i can delete them ❤️

@purrclan

I know, and mostly it's kinda usefull, but it drove me crazy in the travels shop whaha.
