Dream Careers (Come & Chat)

Hey everyone!

I'm just wondering what everyone's dream jobs are.

Of course I'm sharing mine as well. 😊

Option A:

My dream job is to work inn the music business for either producing records with big name superstars or work with a huge record label and manage albums, new music releases and single promotion. I absolutely love music and wouldn't be able to live without it. I have been in my school's chorus class for 5+ years and I know how to read music and I used to take piano, vocal and guitar lessons. Now I only take piano & vocal over the summer.

Option B:

My dream job is to work at Disney/Disney Pixar. I've always loved Disney & Pixar and I grew up watching all of their movies. I love all of their movies and my favorite by far has to be Finding Nemo. I can draw pretty well and have been practicing over and over again. I won't stop until I reach my dream.


What kind of careers are you guys looking forward to achieving? 😊

I am looking towards opening my own chain of businesses. I really want to buy and sell things and I have some creative ideas on theme parks and stuff to open up. I'm already experimenting with an Etsy shop. My ulitmate goal will be to open a fashion store line maybe to be featured in malls and stuff called "Smashion Fashion"

I thought Frozen was really amazing! The music, animation, art & the characters/their actions were all really awesome!

Go see it soon! I heard there's actually a sing-along version in theaters on January 31st 😸 Looks like I will be seeing it again. Haha.

Nice! I remember I really wanted to be an author. But at Pixar/Disney studios they offer different departments and "Story" is one of them so maybe one day I'll be a creator of the storyline in a major box office hit. 😊

And I love Ellen! She's amazing! She also voices my favorite Disney character EVER: Dory! 😸

Yeah Finding Dory was supposed to come out in summer 1015 but it was pushed back to June 17, 2016. 😊

I am currently pursuing a career as a Sign Language Interpreter.

But growing up, my dreams jobs were to become a Photographer for National Geographic and write scores for movies.

I'm considering becoming a mechanical engineer, and job prospects for that would largely be designing machinery for industrial purposes, like the machines used in factories and such.

It's not really my dream job. My dream job would be to be paid to sleep in all day.

I'm currently trying to be super smart so I can be a physicist. That does neutrino astronomy or something involving particle physics. Because yay particles!

I'm way too ambitious for my own good, but I'd love to work as any of these:

- (Co-)admin of a site similar to Egg Cave and other sites out there, because I'd love to create a friendly community and have the chance to build a website and all that jazz. 😋

- Therapist or counsellor, because I enjoy giving support and generally helping others. x3

- Teacher, because I really admire my current teachers. Being able to teach and see (your) students progress and actually /enjoy/ learning new things is a wonderful thing. ❤️

... Aaand soon enough I'll just be working as a cashier person in Asda/Walmart, or bugging people and shoving flyers in their faces. All that young and lively enthusiasm gone out the window. xD

I don't know why, but I've actually been thinking about my career a lot the past week.

-I know I want to be a veterinarian. I know pretty much everyone wants or has at one point wanted that job. We had to do a thing in my Family and Consumer Science class (Home Ec.) and like, three other people wanted that job too. I'm starting High School (9th grade) next year, and I know I'm going to take a bunch of AP classes, and I've never gotten below an A in my life though, so I'm pretty confident I will succeed, even though vet school is really competitive. (Maybe too confident... ; 😉

-I thought about being an author because I love writing. But compared to some people I've RPed with,
*cough* Jupiter_hollow *cough*, I'm horrible, so I don't really see that as a profession.

-I know I don't want to be a farmer, but I have thought about possibly owning a small farm. Like with goats and chickens and stuff.

I have this one friend though that has like everything planned out. She knows what high school, and possibly college, courses she's going to take. She knows what university she's going to. DX She planned everything out with the counselor.

Haha. I also wanted to be a Vet (I used to). 😸 I also wanted to be a performer & author but I realized that if I put my music, story, and art skills together it could be a really amazing thing which is when I decided that working at Pixar Studios would be perfect because I can put my music, art, and story writing/idea-making skills together and ultimately succeed! I'm in honors classes right now in middle school and next year I will be taking AP/Honor classes. I'll also be taking some art, music, and theatre/film classes to help me build my skills. 😊

1) Coral reefs are actually two different things in a symbiotic relationship. Almost like the lichen of the sea, actually. 😋 Although that really just makes them cooler 😊
2) Have you heard of mantis shrimp? They're awesome.
3) Personally, I'd like to work at/with/in (?) Monteray Bay. Not as tropical as some places, but there are sea otters, kelp forests, and depths where the discovery of new species is an everyday occurrence/annoyance that actually gets in the way of the actual work - so that's my plan. Unless, of course, I do something with space. Space is cool. Did you know that most of the stars in the universe come in pairs? Or that the most light the Sun emits is green, even though it looks yellowish-whitish to us? 😃
