@crooton1 I'm pretty sure effect is "do" and affect is "done". Maybe vice-versa... 😋

@chloekins Why does it matter though? This is pretty helpful to others obviously. xD
@crooton1 My reading teacher gave us a test and I FAILED on that part.

@Chloekins

It just gets on my nerves when people say;

"I saw car's on the street when you we're tying your shoe's."

@crooton1
You shouldn't let such silly things bother you(:

@Crooton1

Well, since iPods and iPads and iPhones have auto correction sometimes it does that when the person doesn't mean too. Doesn't mean you should post a thread like this. Some people are young they don't need to know this, some people don't care, they will regret it and learn it from their teachers.

"Then" is used in reference to time; "than" is used when comparing two things.

"Affect" is a verb - a word that describes an action.

"Effect" is a noun.

I'm dying a little inside every time I read one of these grammatically incorrect sentences. ;-;
Believe it or not, I became a grammar freak after seeing a whole bunch of grammatically incorrect topic titles on another website. That was about a year ago... /random

Lol, remember when you freaked me out with your grammar lessons a few weeks ago, since I said 'bub'? But then you said 'Lol', so I was thinking, "Fishy..." xD

I sent @dreamer, well, @thepells4 a PM with the title of, "I wanna kill that kid!" Hehe. >=] Sorry~~ No worries, I'm not 😊
