The sun gleamed overhead it passed gracefully over the forest surrounding a single house. No one had lived in the house for seventy years. Left on its own, the house had grown dusty and grey. The cement had been overrun by grass and tree leaves, while the sides of the house had ivy creeping along them. The cut wood that sat on the side facing the road had been reduced to mold and bug infestation. The pastures that were in front of the house had grown wild with plants, which helped the neighboring deer populations. The electric wire that surrounded the field had been stripped away by the seasons. Horses used to roam over these pastures, but no longer. A row of pine trees had grown and blocked off the corn fields to the left of the house, opposite of the road.A large red, two-story barn had also been taken out by the seasons. Hay from the second level had fallen to the pastures, which fed the animals that roamed here. Even foxes had started to come out, but were careful to avoid the railroad that was just seven hundred yards from the house. The animals needn't care for that anymore though. Trains rarely came by here anymore after the tracks hadn't been repaired. The people that cared for them, just suddenly stopped coming to the place. They stopped caring for it.A lone lambing barn sat next to a corn crib, that had one been used for dogs to stay out in, was still up and around. Spiders and birds now lived in it, along with rats and small frogs. Beside the lambing barn -on the left, sat another pasture for a horse to stay in. Plants had slowly taken it over as the metal gate had rusted and fallen to the ground. A small shelter also stood in the back of it. Two apple trees were rested neatly next to this pasture, and a garage twenty feet from that, a little to the left though. Just in front of the barn and a few feet from the house. The garage doors were left open for animals to stay in as the Guardian sat on top of the green roof. The Guardian was a median sized creature. It stood six feet on its hind legs and wore a silvery hood that was pointed, just above where its eyes would be. Its eyes were once a lovely shade of evergreen before they were viciously gouged out by a human, some twenty years ago. However, the Guardian had been around much longer than that. The Guardian was once human, but died in an alkali bath. Before being murdered, the Guardian had beautiful olive-pale skin with auburn hair. The Guardian was loved all around, until the day of the death of the princess. The Guardian was falsely accused and sentenced to death by alkali bath. It was the worst death imaginable. All of the Guardian's nerves felt like they were on fire, but no one stopped the crime. Furious for the false accusations and death, the Guardian forcefully reentered the world and sought revenge on everyone that had wronged him. This made the Guardian's skin turn pale white and his fingers turned to claws. Once again, he was banished and his eyes were gouged out, leaving black holes that no one would ever see.The Guardian now wore a black sweat-shirt that was wrapped around the elbows. The sweatpants that the Guardian wore were now shredded on the end and wrapped around the knees to prevent air from attacking its body. The hood of the sweatshirt was pointed in the front so it covered its eyes. Blood fell gently from the sides of its mouth. The boots the Guardian wore, were a dark brown pair of hiking boots that were made to be quiet over leaves. On the Guardian's right wrist was a metal contraption with a hidden knife under it, one that never really worked properly. The Guardian had worked on this contraption for a hundred years now and it took until now to get it to work properly. Nowadays, the metal brace was more than deadly. The Guardian used the brace nearly every year. However, it would only use it when someone dared to leave it, or when they dared destroy what the Guardian was protecting. No one dared to even touch the Guardian after the wars though.Humanity was slowly dying out. A poison leaked into the air and slowly destroyed everything. However, the Guardian protected its land and kept it in perfect condition, until you saw it from the outside. Outside of the Guardian's home, the land was destroyed. The sky was red and blazing. The sun was darker and colder. Debris was everywhere and littered the land, and yet. The inside of the property was so beautiful. The sky was blue, the sun was golden and flowers were everywhere. People didn't leave until they died. Then, the Guardian would bury them in the pasture. The Guardian wouldn't say any words about it, but it would bow its head, just like it had been taught all those years ago.Even now, the Guardian would spend its days alone, waiting for anyone to come and visit, but never to leave. No one was allowed to leave the land, unless they wanted to die. The Guardian would track anyone that dared leave the property. It would send the knife right through their stomach and watch as their blood spill onto the road. So far, only a hundred people had dared to escape the Guardian. Only one made it, but went insane with paranoia and slit his throat. The Guardian knew the man had died because it had seen a bird with a slit over its throat. At that, the Guardian let out a bone-chilling laugh and carried on caring for its garden. No others had dared try to leave, but when someone attempted to burn it alive, the Guardian reacted by attacking the person and ripping their throat out. That was back in 2039 though. Since then, the Guardian hadn't attacked anyone. No one had visited, which made the Guardian spend its days watching the clouds that rolled gently overhead. It would pace frantically and sit at the end of the driveway. Still, no one visited. ---My other character, Holly---Staying in the dark, I watched for animals. There seemed to be nothing left in this waste-laden place. Everything was covered in ash, or worse, on fire. Nothing seemed to live anymore. But there was talk of a cure, I had to know if the rumors were true. Even if it meant leaving everything behind.I knew I had the disease, but it was in the earlier stages. Coughing, I glanced around again. I knew this area had once been a paradise to animals, but since the war, everything was slowly dying. Everything would die if this disease wasn't stopped.Leaving was hard on me. I had to leave my little brother to the disease. I shouldn't have left him, but I had to. I had to avoid a more serious version like he had. It wasn't worth it to have it.Sneaking around like an animal felt strangely comforting though. I knew that animals had done it for millions of years, so why not me? I slowly gained an advantage over my home and finally got away. I knew they wouldn't look for me, since I figured they would think me dead. It didn't matter though.. I knew they would die within the next month if I didn't find it.Sighing, I reached a barren forest. The ground was ash under my foot and obviously dead. I frowned and touched one of the ashy trees. "Look what's become of this place..."Form? Nope, just make a decent post with what your character(s) look like. I expect decent grammar and at least 5 sentences a post.

If you are making a private RP for you and only one other person, make it a PM... PMRP's you know?
