Whaaaaaat?!

I just noticed that I had 1 more creature than usual and when I checked my cove I saw I had a Tenalp. I didn't trade for one and I don't remember getting it from the Mysterious Asteroid (though that is a possibility). Does anyone know how getting a creature from the Asteroid works? If so, does the creature come with a random name or do you have to name it to steal it?

If it comes with a random name that would explain what happened, but I'm a little disappointed that when I finally got an Asteroid creature I didn't even notice XD

@ladynymeria I believe that a while ago (more than a year), the Asteroid would show you a sort of notification if you grabbed an egg.
Now, it just refreshes the page if you get one, and you can find it in your cove with a random name.

@poof Thanks for the info. Now I'm just disappointed that it didn't come with confetti and fanfare.

@ladynymeria From what I hear it will randomly show up after you visit the asteroid sometimes..usually when the page jams up or something? Anyway, congrats on getting one! ! That is so cool! I hope I find one someday 😃 ❤️

@aedia I've been visiting the Asteroid sporadically since I joined the site, so I'm sure you'll get one too. 😊
