So my cats 15, i guess thats pretty old for a cat...?Anyway, last night i realised he was kind of dragging his back legs, i picked him up and took him to my parents, they felt around his back and legs which didnt seem to hurt him, he didnt cry or anything, they told me to give him some food, so i did. He couldnt stand to eat it, so he ended up leaning on me and i held the food to him, he ate fine. This morning he's walking better, still not that great. You can see that he knows something is wrong with him, he's just sitting with me. The vet isnt open today, but if he isnt alright tomorrow my parents are taking him there. My parents think he has had a stroke, but he's eating fine.... Anyone know what could be wrong? We dont think he's just hurt his legs and its something to do with age...

@crazy_feline it sounds like your cat is starting to get arthritis. it's a pretty common thing for old cats and dogs to get it. there aren't very many prescriptions for arthritis for cats, but i read online that omega 3 fatty acid supplements work well for them. there are a few more methods that you can use at home here: http://voices.yahoo.com/7-home-treatments-arthritis-cats-8319665.html?cat=53hope this helps!
