@thejesterqueen i'm new too, but from what i've gathered in all about 5 minutes is scanning the newbie forum, helping out their nests and sending friend requests 😸

Advice off the top of my head and in no particular order:
1. If people post on your wall, reply to them on theirs, not yours. Otherwise they won't know you replied.
2. Feeding trick - open multiple creatures in a bunch of tabs, then feed-close-feed-close. It's much faster than waiting for each page to individually load!
3. A ping is pretty much someone on a forum topic saying "Hey, come over here!" If you click the link the notification provides, it takes you to the post the person pinged you on. Tip: When you're replying to someone, people like it when you ping them.
4. Check the Cave every day - while most creatures you'll find are commons, you can sometimes find rare and limited edition creatures! The LE's vary with holidays and seasons, but there are two rare creatures. The Mo will very occasionally show up, and might disguise itself as a common egg. If so, you won't find out until you steal it. The Terron is only available from 3:00AM to 3:10 AM Egg Cave Time, but remember that just because you're at the Cave then doesn't necessarily mean you get one. You won't get one of every common every day at the Cave, after all.
