I have had the following Ideas:
Tradeable CC
CC auctions
Clickable spam page
List of untaken names
Easier trading

@takochu The CC ideas are not good, sorry. You should see what happened to the beta testers in CC auctions.... Define easier trading and clickable spam page. I don't like the untaken names list. 1) WAY too many combinations to list 2) someone would take all the good names that are left

Easier trades just mean a private trade where you can add things from another users cove and add stuff to your side. The person could accept, decline or edit.

Clickable spam is a page where people could post a BB Code of creatures from this site or others to get them clicked, viewed and fed.

There were CC auctions?

I like the Tradeable CC idea.

What do you mean by "Easier Trading"? I think you need to be more specific that that.

I don't like the CC auction idea because the whole reason for the EC auctions was to bring EC up in value, and by creating CC auctions, that would basically destroy the entire value of EC, and the regular auctions would like, never be used.

I don't know what you mean by Clickable Spam Page?

And I don't think that there should be a List of Untaken Names. First of all, that list would literally go on forever. Think of all of the gibberish names that would be on that list. And second of all, I think part of the fun is finding untaken names yourself 😊

By easier trading I meant how they trade on CS. You would send a private trade with the things you want from the person and the things you would trade. The person could edit, accept or decline the trade.

1) Tradeable CC...that's a complicated issue. We used to have CC gifting - that didn't work because scammers, then again it wasn't that much worse (to my knowledge) than the way it was before and the way it is now. Then again that wasn't exactly trading, so...Then again, maybe leads to EC prices skyrocketing. Which is bad. Then again...Why don't you look CC trading/CC gifting up on the forums search and educate yourself?
2) No CC auctions. BAD BAD BAD.
3) There are many forum topics already where you can post your creatures for feeding (which necessarily requires the other two). I'm sure there are at least several for other sites, and if there aren't, make your own.
4)Why bother having a list of untaken names? If you're not sure about one, look it up and there you go.
5) I do agree that the CS way of trading is nice, but can we keep the way it is now as well? Like private trading (your way) vs. public trading (current way)?

EDIT: Also re. the poll, I would suggest:
What do you think?

- Dislike CC auctions
- Like spam
- Dislike spam
- Like name list
- Dislike name list

- Dislike trading idea

and have multiple checking allowed. Because what if you like some of them but not others? Then you can't answer the poll the way it is now.

Yes, there is public trading AND private trading. BB Codes don't work in the egg cave forums. (clickable spam).

Maybe not BB Codes, but there are other ways to link to creatures.
URLs and (for Egg Cave creatures) eCode links come to mind.

Not URLS. Codes where you see a picture of the creature. That's how clickable spam works!
