there are so many users who don't use there account for months on end or even years and there creatures ever die or become trapped on there account so these creatures should be taken in by other users that dont have them ( so you would have to not have that creature in your cove to adopt it)

I know this is probably going to be controversial, but I'm saying it anyway...Why is this such a popular suggestion but re-release is the bane of everyone's' existence? Jw

@werewolf Personally, I don't think giving away someone else's creatures due to the fact that they're gone or what not would be that good of an idea. How do we know if they're not going to return the next day, month, year, etc? Just imagine obtaining the rarest creatures here on Eggcave, and then you have to take a break for maybe a month or two, and when you decide to return your cove is empty and you have to restart. You'd be angered in some sort of way, right? When creating these suggestions you guys have to think from every point of view (e.g. positive, neutral, and negative)

@werewolfI agree with @fakeworld.Also, it would be unfair to just give the creatures to random users. What if someone else wanted it as well, or someone doesn't get a creature at all?Maybe sort of like a "purge"? It's what Neopets has. After an account has not been active for a long time (3 years I believe) the account is deleted, along with the creatures, and the account name and pet names are left open and free to use.

I think a purge would be fairest. Really, the only things I think should be cleared are names. I'm not sure why, but it's probably just because that's how I've played pet sites for so long. Only the names are fair game; everything else goes away forever.

@werewolf Doesn't sound fair at all. I mean, what if it was some sort of long family vacation, or maybe their computer broke down?Pros: We would be saving creatures.Cons:It isn't fair to the player who owned them. Some creatures become unrare because of that, which makes EggCave less fun.All in general, I don't like the idea very much :/I agree with everyone who said purge. Haha.
