Name: AnzynAge: 13Powers: visonsParents: noneCompanions: HeksethFamiliar: none for nowGender: femaleYou wake up in the middle of a moonlit forest. The trees and water pool glisten. There is a girl in front of you. She pulls off her mask and lays down her rusty swords. She has fair skin and long, blond hair. You can sense a blight spreading through the forest. Dew rhythmically drips from the fern. Must. Save. The. Forest.....

Whether it was the dreamlike haze still over him or not, Hesketh came to his senses slowly as the feeling of fear reminded him where he was and why. Reaching to scratch wild hair his fingernails scraped against the buckler by his side, and with a jolt he was woken by the clang of swords, coming face to face with the girl who stood only a few metres away. "Wh-who are you?" he stammered, clapping hands over his pockets to check that nothing had been stolen. "What are you doing here?"

"I am here because of unknown reasons, as are you", Anzyn said. Anzyn tells Heksth that the outer reaches of the forests are dying. The blight is moving in. Anzyn sees strange figures shifting in the shadows. When she gets closer, they abruptly disappear. she has visions of the forests screaming and an unrivaled evil in the center. The visions left her so physically taxed, she forgot about him. He tossed a pebble at her to get his attention. She reached for her swords which gave her comfort in times like this. She set the blade down when she realized it was just him. She described her visions to him. A thought entered her mind. "We have to get to the winterstones!", she said. The walk was long and tiresome, beasts jumped from the snowy bushes, but she repelled them with her swords. At the winterstones, she spoke a language so ancient, it was almost lost to the forbidden forest and the rest of Segwyn. The first to arrive were the regal peacocks, then giant, white moths and soon every creature from every realm of Segwyn was there!

It was a truth he had struggled to believe, but the evidence surrounded them, and was impossible to ignore. Having no desire for visions of his own he followed her obediently, seeming grave as he clutched his shield to his chest, until hours later, there they were. The Winterstones. At once Hesketh knelt, muttering a prayer beneath his breath, yet it was Anzyn's words that sang through his ears. Anzyn's words that brought the forest forward.

@capuchin The forest was binding. Vines twisted together and a gold band lined the forest wall. It was like a huge courtyard. Protected from plagues or beasts. Although the plague was only in the outermost forests, it was spreading fast. Protected, the creatures and elders could talk about a solution. Before she could call a meeting, she passed out. Mouth and nose bleeding.
