Clicks

I know my question is stupid but I just don't understand how can a creature have more feeds than clicks? I mean, don't you have to click on the creature before feeding it? For example, my Invernut, Tasma, Wynerl and others. What counts as a click exactly? Or is there an actual time (as for the views) when they update?

@eva_ The link eggcave/click/49721, for example allows a creature to get clicks. This link redirects to eggcave/egg/49721, which is just the link. If a person uses the egg link then the click won't register but feeds work no matter what link.

@eva_ Ya, and the links on creature auctions, searching creatures, and leaderboards don't give clicks.
