.........sorry darling, but my artist nature just has to say what it feels. Your Dogoat is um, it's um......not the best, that's the light way to put it..........
Honestly it could be a good creature but the lines are very messy, the proportions for things are very bad, the way you drew the head was fine, but also the feet are just, horrible.

The legs should look like the are attached to the body, the body should be thinner, the tail is too thick, you should not use crayons to color with (crayons are a horrible coloring utensil), the scruff arounf the neck doesn't need to look so sharp, make it light and fluffy so it actually looks like fur, make each leg the same size, don't put claws that are so un-similar looking to eachother, the tail should have a bit better shape, make the legs shorter, the body shouldnt be that long, the spots need to be better shaped and just more revisions need to be done.

I'm sorry for laying it down so hard but I was an artist before I met you, and if anyone reading this would like to see one of my designs after me being so critical check out "Creature suggestion: Purmurr" Kyle keep trying though, don't give up. Take some ideas and revise it. Sorry again, just couldn't help it. 😋

@mooman1st It's more original than your girlfriend's idea. 😋 There's only one other goat creature on egg cave, and its not even very goat-like. But there are over 30 dogs... Anyway, good luck!

@baileyamundsen14 lol, your evaluation is critical. xD Over time I've learned the "sandwich" method of criticism: something nice, something truthful thats mean, then something nice again. 😊 It's easier than upsetting people. But to be honest, I like your boyfriend's art better than yours, but that has to do with me liking farm animals. X)

@nenielsen cats are farm animals too :/ and I am very creative, I'm revising his design at the moment. That is, if he wants me to revise it. I am also working on a fish and bird design as well. Next a snake and so on, so don't think his is better, I am a artist and I will always be!!! I agree his design is somewhat unique, the name reminds me of the Pokemon "Gogoat" though.

I told him it was a good design, he just needed to make it more realistic with details.

@baileyamundsen14 Yes they are, but I'm more talking about the unpopular ones. X) For some reason, I like things that are unpopular. I have cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, a goose, a parrot, sheep with new lambs, and a cow with a calf in real life, so I guess I really like diversity. 😋

Anyway, I was more joking about it. 😊 Your comment about his design was brutal enough for me to assume you could take a little truth from my own opinion. You must admit I was less harsh then you, no? 😋 Its okay though, I've entered endless creature ideas that in my opinion where great, but others had a different idea. Yes well, you were right about me being harsh. 😋 he wanted me to tell him exactly what I though about it though. Truthfully, I myself am weird @nenielsen. for instance, did you know stranger candy is the best type of candy? X3 the idea was fine, original, it just needs some touching up you know. I go over my designs at LEAST 5 times before I get it fairly right to the standpoint I think people will like it. If you give me some animals I can work with, I'll try to come up with some designs for them. 😊 and the Dogoat's egg has just been revised, now working on 2nd stage, hmmmmmm........ok that ones done, and final one..............ok, sent picture to mooman1st, see what he thinks of it. 😊

Saw them, your boyfriend had a good idea, but I like your version better because its has a bold outline, making it easier to see. The colors are nice on both, though. 😃
