What does "Star" mean?

I found a Star Mekii in the cave.

And I also saw a Star Marlay for sale in the auctions before.

What does the Star part mean? and what makes them different from others pets?

The star is just a little accessory on the creature.
Some people don't like the star part, but some people do and collect them.
What makes them different is just the little star- that's all. Commons are worth more with the star, but with CSPs, it just adds 100CC to the value since stars in the Cash Shopcost 100CC.
