I am disappointed because I've been putting my old mail in "ARCHIVES" only to discover that ARCHIVES actually means TRASH. I do not like to clutter my INBOX so I ARCHIVE them.

Recently I needed to retrieve one of those ARCHIVED messages and can't find it anywhere.

Definition of Archive:

https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=difinition of archive

Doesn't mean TRASH.

I believe it is time this be remedied!!

They reappear if the person responds to the message again. :/ But other than that there is no wa for you to get them back.

Change from ARCHIVE to Trash. Then we know that they are TRASH. 😊 Easy fix

@novrain62
Archived mail isn't trashed mail. It isn't deleted, just put away until something new happens on it.

@purrclan - there is no way to access it, it is gone. so therefore it is gone. you can access archives; if you can access it (not rely on someone else to make 'something new happen'. I want to make 'something new happen' on my OWN Mail.

I also don't want 100 mailings stored in my INBOX.
Our mailing systems needs an upgrade, simply put.
