@aliney Yeah Eggcave was WAY different back then Like it would blow your mind how nice everyone was and how little competition there was...

@aliney - It was very different indeed. 😸 I kind of miss the dark green and grey. It was less harsh on my eyes. 😋


@mightyeglantine - Yep. But at least Egg Cave still feels like a community. I quit Neopets for this site because on Neopets I always felt completely alone and it's not like that here. 😊

@vampire666 Yep I used to be able to spend hours on here without any eye pain now all I get is pain and irritation, I do love this community and those who make strides to befriend other, and Do you remember before PMs? That was 'Fun'.

I remember back in 2011 it looked different! People were very nice and open, now since the community is different, it's changed even every since I've been here.

@aliney I remember 2011, though it says I joined in 2013 I spent I few months here on another account. I used to love the EggCave looked, it was simple and welcoming, without being overloaded with features. I remember how excited everyone was when the BETAs were testing out this new look and style for the site, now it's weird to think there are so many people who want to go back XD

(Sort of unrelated)Thinking about it now, I just wish I hadn't trusted myself to remember to come online to refresh my creatures at Tim's all those years ago, I distinctly remember it being the time I was about to start secondary and there was chaos with SATs and getting ready to move and induction...all those crazy things and it just slipped my mind ☹️

(About the unrelated) I feel pretty much the same way, I've lost many creatures during hectic times when life gets in the way ☹️, but Ya just gotta keep going and hope to find a replacement or resurrect it if possible.
