Evie*
It was chaos. Campers ran in all directions after the leaders of the teams shouted orders. Evie was going to be guarding the borders. 'Ok, let's do this.' she thought. Taking a deep breath, Evie scanned the borders for any people from the other teams. After 15 minutes, she had already tagged around 4 people, and her team still hadn't managed to get the other team's flag. She desperately tried to think of a plan. Distract the other team... get the flag... run as fast as they can...
There were suddenly gasps all around Evie. She looked around herself. People were were staring at something above her head. She looked up. And gasped as well. Floating above Evie's head was the picture of an owl (can't remember what it exactly looked like x3) Chiron galloped into the clearing.
"She is now defined. Hail, daughter of Athena." he said. (At least I think that's what he's supposed to say...) To Evie's astonishment, everyone bowed down. Her, daughter of Athena! Wow.
"Now, let the game resume!" Chiron shouted. Everyone immediately started running around again.

Sarah: Sarah was excited about capture the flag, it would be the first thing that could really make her part of the camp. Her team had stationed her on offense and to assist on a frontal assault on the flag, but the other team had so many players in front of it, she couldn't believe this would work, unless is was simply a diversion. So how else to get the flag?
Sarah knew that once tagged by the other team, they were supposed to sit and wait 5 minutes before allowed to enter the game again (I don't know what the actual rules are on this...). Therefore, when the head of the assault ran out with battle cries, she didn't follow them but instead sat down and pretended to have been tagged, slowly moving toward the flag.
Suddenly, the space around Sarah lit up as an owl formed above her head and people gasped. Chiron trotted out of the trees and said, "Congratulations, daughter of Athena" and inclined his head. "Strange, two people have both been claimed tonight, and both by Athena" Chiron continued to mutter to himself before saying, "Resume the game!" Sarah was tempted to ask who else was a daughter of Athena, but people had already started swinging swords and throwing spears and Chorin disappeared again.
'Well, so much for my plan' Sarah thought as she scrambled to grab her sword and dodge some arrows that flew past.

Ryan stood alone in the middle of the woods. He was supposed to be playing capture the flag, but he had lost everyone. He was clutching a sword shakily. "I can't belive this is happening" he said aloud to himself. Thoughts of his brother pssed through his mind as he walked quietly through the woods. Suddenly, he heard the sound of yelling. He ran towards ir and saw utter chaos. Just a group of kids fighting each other with spears, swords, arrows, the like. He hid behind a tree and tried to breath slowly. He was really hot in his black swaetshirt but he had refused to take it. Running out into the group of kids he began to fight some of them. He was actually suprised at how good he was Suddenly he was thrown to the ground and looked up to see a sword pointed at him. Suddenly the boy dropped his sword and back away, which gave ryan even of a chance to get up. Soon everyone was looking at him...or something above his head. They began muttering, so ryan looked up. Above him was a black and red thing floating above his head. It was gloawing brightly and as ryan was about the see what the symbol was it disappeared. "What was that?" he asked looking at all the other campers. They only continued muttering. "I'll get Chiron" one of them said then ran off. @ashlinnhi

At that moment, someone from then Hephaestus cabin chose that moment to charge into their boundaries, seeing the two girls "gossiping". Evie tagged him immediately.

Ryan stood there shaking, still holding his sword in the defensive postion when a man walked up....well a centaur. He realised this must be chiron. "What's the issue?" he said in a loud voice. The boy who got him told him about Ryan being claimed. "By who?" The boy faultered when he said the word. "He was claimed by HAdes sir."

Victoria:

I had just been claimed by Aphrodite. During a game of capture the flag. I was a little lost. I looked around as everyone around me rushed but I couldn't think straight. Quietly, I walked off somewhere into the woods. Walking between trees and past rivers, I came to a little clearing. I sat down with the feeling that some one was following me. I looked around and caught a flash of bright blue.

I turned back very cautious. I could hear the thing coming up to me. But I didn't turn around this time. I knew it would run away again, so I waited. I closed my eyes as the thing walked around me. Opening them, I gasped. Looking at me with sea blue eyes was a blue pheonix.

I stroked it gently as it rested before me. I had read about these birds a few time and I knew that they were the rarest of all birds. The pheonix seemed to trust me now as it rested on my hand.

"Nice bird you have there." Some one said behind me. I jumped recieving a stare from the bird. A boy of around the same age of me, wearing jeans and a black t-shirt was staring at me, his black hair falling over his caramel eyes.

"Who are you?" I ask a little worried.

"Son of Zeus, Jack." He replied his head cocked. "What about you?"

"Victoria. Vi for short. Daughter of Aphrodite. Are you from the camp?"

"Yes. Do you want to go back now? The games have finnished." He asked me. I looked at Jack and wondered if I could trust him. But he seemed alright. Standing up, the pheonix flew onto my shoulder and I walked side by side with Jack back to the camp.

As we walked in scilence, I sneaked a glance at Jack. Bad idea. He was staring at me. Looking away, I blushed. OMG. That guy is creepy. Or cute? Urgh!

So, the games had ended. Everything had seemed to settle down, and it was time to dig in and eat. Food seemed to magically appear on plates. Of course, Caleb would be hungry. He'd been running around like a crazy chicken in Capture the Flag, and when he finally calmed down, he just hid under a log till the game finished.

He sighed as his plate was filled minimally. It seemed as if you could control what you wanted to eat. His father had taught him not to indulge in foods, and to remember the poor and hungry. As he had seen other campers do, he scraped some food off his plate into the fire. "For the gods," he whispered.

Being unclaimed so far, he had to squeeze in with the Hermes table. He sighed, and quietly placed food in his mouth, surveying the scenery around him.

Suddenly, a glowing emblem appeared over his head. A house and flame. People gasped. Chiron muttered, "Hail, son of Hestia."

Wow, there seem to be a lot of people being claimed tonight, and all three of us are Athena? It looks like our mother was busy, we are all about the same age, right? How old are you two? I'm 15." They were walking back to eat dinner, and Sarah was excited to sit with her newly found half siblings and (hopefully) friends.

Hestia isn't a *major* god ANYMORE, so she wouldn't have a table. x3 She deserted her position to give it to Dionysus, to avoid conflict. Maybe Caleb talks to Chiron and works something out?

When the game ended Ryan went alone to the food place. He went alone cause no one would talk or walk with him. When he got there he sat at an empty table alone. He ate very little and looked at all of the people. He wondered how many of these people were 'children of hades'. He was still a little confused by this while things still.

Ryan saw a boy approach his table, but he soon walked away when a girl approached. Ryan looked down at his food and poked at it. The table he was sitting at was dusty, so he began to draw on it with his finger. Suddenly a tear fell off his face and ryan quickly wiped it off. He felt so alone, even more alone then before. He missed his brothers and he strated getting fleeting thoughts of his brother. He was there when he died. A truck came barreling towards them, and somehow Ryan had survived. Ryan still remembered holding his brothers lifeless corpse and-

"Stop," ryan whispered aloud to himself. Looking up he saw all the other tables full of kids, happy smiling faces. He still didn't understand what this claiming thing, or the horse guy, or why everyone seemed to be afraid of him.

Suddenly, he decided that he would get some answers after the meal was done. He saw the sun setting so he knew that everyone would be going to their own cabins.

A few more tears escaped as ryan took another bite of his food.

"Ok," he mumbled to himself. "We're going to lose soon if we don't get the flag, and someone from the Ares cabin is bound to get our flag. So... best thing to do is... distraction." Josh quickly whispered his plan to the other people beside him. They nodded, and dashed off. This was his chance. He sprinted towards the other team's flag. He was almost there... a couple more metres... then someone slapped him on the back. Sheldon Cornick, a boy from the Ares cabin, smirked and said, "You're out punk." Josh scowled and skulked around, watching everyone else.
