AdoraBelle:

I sat with Frosty on a bench watching as the birds flew away. Frosty was talking about something when I caught a phrase: "later this evening. What you gonna wear?"

Snapping out of my trance, I asked her, "To where?"

"To the dance of course!" replied FrostFlake bewilderedly.

I closed my eyes and remembered my first ever dance at the orphanage. It was with Jack, the boy who had shown me right from wrong and taught me love. I remebered the dress I wore. It was deep sea blue with diamond flowers all over it.

I opened my eyes and saw Frosty staring at me. I looked down and cried out in amazement for I was wearing the exact same dress. "Wow. Pixie Hollow is just one big sectret." I joke. "Who are you going with Frosty?"

FrostFlake thought for a while and then said, "A water fairy called HollowDew. He's best friends with WaterBurst. I have to go do something. Be right back!" and Frosty left.

I sat for a while admiring my imagionation when a shadow fell over me. I looked up. It was WaterBust and he looked nervous but cool. "Hey AdoraBelle do you have a partner for the dance?" he asked.

My heart beating I replied, "No. And how did you know my name?"

"I heard FrostFlake talking about the incident with you. So can you go with me?" asked WaterBurst extending a bouquet with blue roses matching my dress. "I love your outfit."

"Thank you. Yes." I blush taking the beautiful flowers and smelling them.

"I shall see you there then, AdoraBelle." WaterBurst replied kissing my hand and flying off. My cheeks burned and I fell into a trance. Frosty landed beside me.

"Wow. Did you see a ghost or something?" she asked.

"WaterBurst just asked me out." I whispered.

@appleblizzard I hope I'm not starting too late! For some reason I didn't get notified for any pings at all!


Frost stood still for a moment, stunned at what she saw. Objects, representing elements floated above the tables that were laid out in a circle. Queen Clarien stood beside her, looking warmly down at her. "Go on," she said, "find your talent." Frost smiled and approached the tables one by one, not particularly interested in any of them until she was immediately drawn to the idea of being a fast-flying fairy. But the element wilted like a dying flower as she reached out, her face full of a confused disappointment.

"But if... if I'm not a fast-flying fairy... what am I?" Frost asked, crushed. For the first time in her life, she felt like breaking down and crying despite her tough personality. She looked up at Queen Clarien, who in turn met her eyes with a reassuring gaze.

"It was not meant to be, try another. Let your heart choose."

Nodding slowly, Frost continued on and studied each one. She wasn't sure which one she would have wanted, or which one her heart wanted for that matter. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Then, walking forward, she reached out and felt a cool but calming sensation. Opening her eyes, she knew she had walked up to the snowflake. It glowed brightly and a great magic enveloped her, transforming her into a frost fairy. Though she was disappointed at not becoming a fast-flying fairy, she could not feel any sadness in this moment; she only felt a great happiness and excitement. She looked over to Queen Clarien once again with a wide smile.

Queen Clarien nodded in response, sharing in her barely containable joy. "Frost Snowbreeze, welcome to Pixie Hollow. I know you will make a great frost fairy."

Ania flew around trying to spot her sisters. But they were nowhere to be found, so soon she just started practising flying, making loops and quick bursts of speed.

Then suddenly the wind carried distressed voices to her ears. Curious, she started flying towards the source. When she arrived, she saw three fairies standing in front of one, obviously threatening the lone one. And to her disappointment two of the three were wind fairies. Ania was just about to fly between the group to stop whatever was happening, when there was a sudden erupt of bright light and a frigid gust of wind.

The three fairies were blown away by the force, someone was also yelling at them. When the glaring brightness faded, Ania was able to see that it was her other sister who was behind this occurrence. She glanced at Ania and then took of after the one she had just saved.

'Wow...' Ania thought, '...that must be her special power. Amazing...'

Still in thought, Ania started flying to the general direction of where her sister had gone. This time she went very slowly, wanting to give the others some time to talk and calm down.

When she got there, she saw her sister looking quite pale and she was just whispering something to the other. For a moment Ania thought coming back a little later, but when no more words were spoken, she landed and greeted the two.

''Umm... Hi! That was some show by the lake over there... Are you okay?'' Ania asked from the one who had been threatened.

''What was that about anyway, if you want to tell me?''

Ania had wanted to show of her dress, but these matters were way more important than one dress.

AdoraBelle:

FrostFlake looked at Ania and deciding she could trust her told her everything. About the necklace, about Crys and about the confusion. "I thought I'd never escape when AdoraBelle turned up." she finnished.

"Yeah well. I wouldn't leave my bestie in trouble, would I?" I said hugging Frost tightly.

Frosty thought for a moment or two and then asked carefully, "Do you know what happened?"

"Er...depends about what." I replied confused shrugging at Ania.

Frosty's eyes seemed to gleam with excitement. "The whole bright light and wind and stuff. How did you do it?"

I frowned recalling what had happened. Slowly, I remembered an expanding light and there was the wind as well. "I-I don't acctually know..." I began.

Suddenly, I sharp voice boomed, "AdoraBelle Heathers. I want to see you immediately in the Queen's office!"

Ania looked at me septically and FrostFlake cocked her head to one side.

Nervously, I followed the grumpy looking fairy to the border, frosted my wings and passed. I arrived 5 minutes later at the Pixie Dust tree where the fairy told me to come through. I landed down and walked in nervously.

Queen Clarien was seated in her throne at the front of the hall with all of the ministers, Dutchess Spring, Minister Autumn, Duke Summer and Lady Winter sat beside her. "Come forward, AdoraBelle." says Queen Clarien creating another seat in front of her.

I came forward, courtsied and sat down gracefully. "Your majesty, I do not know why I have been brought here. Is something wrong?" I asked my heart pounding and my legs feeling numb.

"No no, dear. I have not summoned you to punish you for anything. In fact, I have summoned you here for the exact opposite reason." Queen Clarien says. "One of my servants have been watching over Pixie Hollow when they saw the rarest of things. They saw you using a true rare talent.
I had news that we have before us maybe the most talented of all fairies. AdoraBelle do you have an explanation about what happened by the lake?"

"No your majesty. It happened of it's own accord. I guess Pixie Hollow has it's secrets." I reply.

Chuckling, the queen tells me, "Yes quite true. AdoraBelle, at the Talent Picking, you were picked as a frost fairy. But before us now is not what I would call one."

Shaking my head a little, I cry "How?!" then feeling this would be impolite to address the Queen like this I say, "Sorry but how is this possible?"

Lady Winter stood up and walked over to me. Bending down to look right into my eyes she said, "Dear, you are the second fairy ever in Pixie Hollow history to have the power of the Ice Dragon. The first was a fairy called StarDust."

Duke Summer approached me and continued, "StarDust was a light fairy. But she obtained the power of the Ice Dragon and became know more as Solei the Nymph of Magic. She used her power to help win wars, help other fairies and to make this world a happier place."

"You are born with this kind of special magic too, AdoraBelle. And we have seen this in the power and control you have over your magic of frost." said Minister Autumn.

Dutchess Spring flew over and exclaimed, "Oh dear, with the help of us, your magic can truly evolve to help you. You will be the next Nymph of Magic!"

I thought all of this over. It seemed they were right but I wasn't sure how. Potentially I could have this special power but what about my sisters?

Queen Clarien watched me think and said softly, "AdoraBelle we are not trying to chose for you. We only want to help and guide you in the right direction. Please think about this."

I nodded and stood up. Fluttering my wings, I flew away thinking about my new knowledge when I bumped into another fairy. "Ouch!" I cried. I saw it was Ania. "Sorry!"

When her sister was summoned to go to meet the Queen, Ania made a snap decision to follow her. She stayed by the door to listen in. Her being a wind fairy, it was quite easy, the air carried to words to her even though they were spoken far away.

'Oh, well now I at least know her name, AdoraBelle...' Ania thought when the Queen mentioned it. She continued to listen.

~Power of Ice Dragon...~ She then whispered to herself, stunned. In fact, she was so dumbfounded, that she didn't pay attention and the next thing she knew was the door opening and AdoraBelle bumping right into her.

Ania stumbled backwards and blushed beet red with embarrassment. She'd been caught red handed eavesdropping.

She closed her eyes and muttered: ''Sorry, I don't know what I was thinking...''

Apple, I thought that Ania would go invisible at this point (because she is so embarrassed), and that it would be her power. Is it good, or should it be something more powerfull?

@alliainen sure it's a really good Idea but maybe expand it a little? BTW Ice Dragon Power:
* It can create force feilds
* It can change the weather according to AdoraBelle's mood
* It can use really strong pushes of wind
* it can use light
* enable her to feel danger.

"It's alright." I say fluttering upwards to regain my balance. I watched bewildered as Ania dissapeared. "Er...Ania?" I ask looking around.
"What?" replies her voice.
I look forward but see no one. "Where are you?"
"Here." someone says putting a feeling my shoulder.
"Who's there? Stop it!" I shout and fly away desperate to stop this.

I think I may have to drop out of this. I haven't the slightest idea what's going on since I missed so much already and to be honest, I don't even know what I should do with my character. It would probably be less work for me to just back out now. I'm sorry. :C

@appleblizzard Could I be the only one with invisibility? And other things Ania could do:
-Walk/fly through solid things
-She hears really well, she's been using this already but haven't realised it's not common for wind fairies
-She could control the winds extraordinarily powerfully

Is this name good: The power of Wind Storm?

Ania was still holding her eyes closed, when she heard AdoraBelle saying something, sounding utterly confused.

''What?'' Ania asked her, opening her eyes. AdoraBelle was looking around and then peculiarly asking, where Ania was.

Crunching her eyebrows Ania stepped closer to her sister, putting a hand to her shoulder and saying: ''Here.''

AdoraBelle started fluttering away screaming, but Ania didn't wonder about her behaviour anymore. For she now knew what it was all about. She couldn't see her hand. She was invisible!

''AH! AdoraBelle! I can't see myself!!'' Ania started to panic.

She needs to calm down to be able to turn visible again.

AdoraBelle: I calmed down by the river. What was that about?! I reached down into the water to try and take a sip but unfortuately, I froze it. Jumping up, I felt really confused and scared. Looking up, many grey clouds were moving this way along with wind. Panaking even more, I saw lightening. Oh no! Was I doing this? Rain started to pour and I felt my wings drop. I can't fly!

Walking whilst shivering, FrostFlake joined me with a leaf over her head. "Oh, AdoraBelle! Come here!"

I ducked under the leaf and we walked together back home. Inside, it was so dark. I tried to catcht the moonlight but Instead, I created a mini sun thing. "What the-!?"

It popped and I heard Thunder. Oh no. I tried to cover my ears but instead, something Bright blue expanded around my house - a force field! "Aaahhh!!!!!!" I screamed flying out. The clouds were pushed away. I stopped shouting and opened my eyes to see a clear sky. Whoa.

When Ania lifted her gaze from where she supposed her hands were, AdoraBelle was nowhere to be seen. She started to hyperventilate. Where had her sister gone? Why had she left her? Why was she invisible? Whywhywhywhy....

Ania fainted.

She woke up to a hard rain soaking her. She sputtered and sat up. Feeling weirdly out of it, she tried to look at her hand, but couldn't see it. This time however, she didn't start panicking. The freezing rain kept her head clear.

Ania lowered her hand to her thigh, and though: 'I wish I could see myself again.'

And then she could. Suddenly her hand and leg were there again, completely visible.

There was a crack of thunder, and then the sky cleared out as if someone had evaporated the clouds from the sky.
Ania was drenched, and freezing. Absentmindedly she waved her hand around herself, making hot air swirl around her, effectively drying her and warming her up.

Then she flew to her house and went right to sleep.

Waking up, I rubbed my eyes and yawned. I looked outside. Oh great. It was snowing. I got out and stared at my mirror. My hair was standing up in different directions, my wings were drooping and my dress was oddly squashed. "Oh...it's the dance today!"

Quickly, I changed into my amazing dress and looked at myself. Something was missing. Looking at myself once more, I realised my hair was still sticking up! Closing my eyes, I frustratedly pictured my idea hairstyle. Opening my eyes to get prepared for making that look, I found out I already made it!

Wow. I stared at the girl portrayed in the mirror. Gasping, I thought it was someone behind me. So happy, I grabbed my pixie dust bag and flew out ready to find Izzabet and Ania.

When Ania woke up the next morning, she stayed in bed for a while and just stared at the roof. Then she lifted her hand in front of her face. When she saw it just fine, she sighed in relief and got up.

After dressing and taming her hair she decided to go out and practise flying.

After checking to make sure Salty was still asleep in his little bed, I walked up to stream by the side of my house and stepped into it. The water was cool and refreshing. It was only up to my knees, but it still felt great. I wished I could lay down in the water and just feel it surround me, but my wings pinned my to reality and the dry land. I sighed and shook my hands dry. As I did so, the water rose above me in a wall. I still hadn't gotten the hang of controlling the water. I decided to just walk beside the stream and see where it lead. I followed it for what felt like an hour, when it opened into a big lagoon. "Wow!" I muttered to myself. It was beautiful. There was a huge waterfall, and lovely coral for every shade and color you can imagine! It was amazing! I suddenly realized how exhausted I was. I laid down on the driest spot I could find and covered my self with a leaf. Quickly, sleep came to me.
