Winter Creature: Wintewolf

About Wintewolf:

Newly hatched Wintewolf, not having any experience with the world around them, are taught by their mothers to hunt and survive on their own. Once they have learned all that their mothers have to teach, the wolves separate from their familiar surroundings and venture off to discover and claim their own territory. Doing so is often difficult for Wintewolves, however, since they are generally kind creatures by nature and rarely attack unless provoked.

The Wintewolf is unlike any other wolf in the world. Their nimble legs allow them to reach speeds of up to 60 miles per hour, with the help of their powerful, retractable claws. These claws are vastly different in makeup when compared to any other known species. A Wintewolf's eyesight is ten times superior to that of an average human. The ends of their tails appear to have a snowflake at the tip that never melts. While the flake is attached to the tips of a Wintewolves tail, the creature is kept highly aware of its surroundings and retains a quiet disposition.

More about Wintewolf:

The coloration of the Wintewolf's fur is due to the freezing climate of the regions that they inhabit, since they are unable to survive in warmer areas. The greatest flaw the Wintewolf is the weaker region located on their neck. For this reason, every Wintewolf constantly wears a scarf to protect their necks from the cold environment they inhabit. If the scarf was to ever fall off, the Wintewolf would freeze in a matter of minutes.

Looks cute! 😊 Although I find it looks more like a cat than a wolf...But then again, it could just be me. I think it might be better with another stage or two though.

Oho, so does this wolf ever stop eating? I mean, unlimited energy as far as I can see, haha. VERY useful ability. 😊

The first description seems more like a description for the hatched creature, same with the second one, so it's like there's no description for the egg. Maybe you could add one?

I love the creature description though. It's very detailed! I really want one of these creatures! So fluffy and fuzzy, and we could eat pizza, and then run around in the snow! Not a fan of the cold, but playing games with a winter wolf can keep you warm! The info about each part of its body is very specific, so they don't seem useless/unnecessary. The snowflakes freeze and stick to their fur?

It's pretty cool how the egg isn't shaped like a regular egg. It'd be nice to see more odd eggs like this.

I'm guessing the tail can be used for attacking as well?

Cool that this wolf is meant for its environment. Perfect predator and protector. Would definitely want one of these.

Ah, I see the redo now. Have to say, I think I liked the previous pic better. More stages here, of course, but no snow flakes, or scarf, sadly. The eyes are easier to see though. I say the first stage looks more adult than the second stage. Maybe just because of the way it's drawn?

Well, those are my thoughts, haha.

Also, maybe think of another name for the creature. Wintersnowolf is descriptive, heh, but it's not really a creature name...at the very least a combination of words relating to the creature. Maybe a Wrowolf? Winwrolf? Eh.

Just looked so fluffy and cool and cute in the first pic. Heehee

EDIT- Saw the details! Pretty quick hatch rate, wow! Seem to behave similarly to real wolves.
