Immense Lag from Eggcave?

I'm getting a ton of lag from Eggcave, and it's lagging my music and my entire computer.
Last night before the celebrations came up, Eggcave was loading quickly and not with a ton of lag [I get lag from my computer, but it's only 1-2 second lag]
When the celebrations were announced, Eggcave suddenly got a lot slower.
While typing this up [about 2 minutes] everything was still loading, and it just now stopped loading.
Is it just me, or is Eggcave lagging immensely?

EDIT: Figured out the problem. The ads are causing my lag. Redownloaded AdBlock and I'm running faster.
Still taking longer to load than usual though.

I have noticed it is taking a little while longer to load things but nothing like you are experiencing.

I figured it out.
Mostly due to the ads, I was running quite slow. I put in AdBlock and I'm running faster.
Still taking a bit longer to load stuff though.

My stuff got deleted for some reason on Chrome, so I had to reinstall it >< But now everything is running a lot smoother, still, Eggcave is still lagging my music every once in awhile due to the time it takes a load. [~15 seconds for normal pages, around a minute for coves that are over 100. Bit much]

Weird, Chrome hasn't deleted anything for me (But then again, I don't think I have the AdBlocker, or I do and just don't realize it 😃)

Sorry to hear about the lag a week ago. We expected high loads during our birthday celebrations.

Rest assured that, over this past week, I've continued to make improvements to our database backend and have optimized a lot of queries. 😊

This should lead to overall quicker speeds and less slowdowns at peak times.
