A trading question.

Ok, so basically, I won an egg in an auction. Yay me. Then someone messaged me about how they bid on it for the name and asked it I would trade them the name.

Now I have no attachment to the name, I wanted the creature, so have no problem renaming the creature. But how does one go about trading the name?

@mejary So I change the name of my creature to something else, and put the wanted name on another egg both through City hall? Would it be a random egg? Or would the person send/trade me the pet they want the name on and then I send it back? And am I right in that it's a bit of a chance that the name won't get grabbed while I transfer it to another creature?

Or would there be another way of doing it?

Sorry about all the questions. I may have technically been a member for a long time, but all the trading and "social" side is new to me.

Yes, usually there's two different ways people sell or transfer names.

1) You rename the creature with the name a different name, then put the name on a junk creature. You then trade the junk creature to the other user. (Most common way)

Or 2) you rename the creature with the name, and the other user renames their creature when the wanted name is open.
