isolation by choice

I need a text on isolation by choice to escape the problem and be able to cope for my essay on isolation!
It can be an article, book, movie or song.
It can't be Frozen though, I'm already using that for another part of my essay. 😋
I can't find anything, or think of anything.
Any help/ideas is incredibly appreciated, thanks. 😊

Into the Wild is a great movie/book

a lot of isolation by choice in that.
