[GUIDE] How to hyperlink

Since a lot of people are confused on how to hyperlink, I thought I would make a topic to answer questions along with a tutorial!
Yes, I am aware of the ecode guide. However, it is confusing and some people are confused on how to link, even with that. This guide helps to let them understand how to use those links.

How to hyperlink to creature profile
Want to learn how to hyperlink to creature profiles like this? Here is how.

1. Take this fancy little line of coding: [e=CreatureID]Text[/e ]

2. Replace the term CreatureID with the ID of the creature you want to link to.

Q: Where/how do I get the ID?
A: Well, you know when you click on someone's creature and in the address link this comes up? http://eggcave.com/egg/561026
What you want is that string of numbers, in this case, 561026.
Replace that with CreatureID so now, for example, it looks like this: [e=561026]Text[/e ]

3. Now you have that pretty line of text. See, it wasn't so bad, was it? Finally, you have can change the word Text with anything else. Yes, you can use spaces and other things as well!
It should now look like this. [e=561026]Example time[/e ]
Remove the space to get this: Example time

There you go! Your first hyperlink to a creature. You can copy and paste your old hyperlink and just replace the ID and text instead of having to type out the entire thing again.
