Cave Creature Suggestion - the Alpha

Okay, so first creature suggestion I've done since I've been on EC. Had to whip out the drawing skills (or lack thereof) for this one. I tried to do simple, so I don't think I did too horribly . . . but anywho . . . the Alpha:

The name is still up in the air. The creature started as one thing, but I changed the concept, so I had to change the creature. It also has a counterpart, the Omega. That one is still up in the air, too.

The egg itself would be a variation of deep reds and oranges. The lines on and around the egg would be black. The eye in the middle of the egg would be kind of blood red.

The first stage of the Alpha would be almost the same colors as the egg. Except instead of solid reds and oranges, the body would be deep shades of reds and oranges, because it's meant to appear to be intangible, which is why I did stippling.

The concept of the Alpha is "chaos". When I think "chaos", I think dark colors. But this isn't meant to be a Halloween creature. Merely coincidence =3=

Egg Description:

Alphas are born of a person's first heartbreak. Unlike most creatures, during their incubation, Alphas are fully awake and aware of their surroundings. It is not uncommon to see the eye on the outside of the shell open, though it is unnerving. They observe the outside world, and the small wisps of black magic that can be seen on the shell wreak all sorts of havoc. The egg itself is intangible and only becomes tangible if an Omega egg is near. Otherwise, touching an Alpha egg is never recommended. With an Omega egg near, the Alpha's chaos is contained and cannot hurt those closest to it.

Creature Description:

When Alphas hatch, they bring chaos with them. Technology goes haywire, plants wither and fade, and people get depressed without the slightest idea why. Alphas search for those who have yet to experience heartbreak and bring chaos into their lives, begetting another Alpha from their havoc. Alphas can only be calmed, can only be tamed, by Omegas. Which is why, whenever an Alpha egg is found in the wild, it is left alone until its counterpart can be found.

And that's that. I have another creature suggestion, but only one suggestion per topic is what's asked. So I'll be posting again soon.

The name will probably be changed, although I do like the ring of Alpha and Omega❤️ So perhaps not 😸 I like how Alpha looks, but post as you please 😊 Opinions are welcome

@lilkeykey14 Maybe you should do a name that spins from chaos. Like Kaios or something. I really like the idea of this creature! Really wants this to get made. ^^

I was thinking of something like that because Alpha and Omega sound pretty normal compared t all the other creatures.

But what kept popping in my head was Caius from Twilight =3=

Weeee! It kind of looks like a galaxy sort of critters (though I don't think that was your intention...)

But I like the two contrasting critters as well as the description.

I think the pair could be limited edition critters/event critters. Like, there's only a certain amount available to the public...

Maybe like good/evil event....

That would be awesome....I was only thinking of them as cave monthlies, but to see them distributed in that context would be quite the treat.....
