@dappne6 I have some songs that I never used for anything and have to look for them because I don't know where they are at the moment but as soon as I find them I'll check if they're good enough for the contest or might write a new one.

Are there any topics that aren't allowed to be in the song (i.e. death, same sex love/relationship/breakup)?

Is there a specific deadline for the auditions, like a week before Halloween or some time after Halloween? 😊

why u should get picked: I would love the creatures. I started found egg cave not long ago and I've been working on having a nice cove. I want to get one of as many different creatures as i can. I wrote this poem a long time ago when i was in middle school

little poem u wrote together: This was the first poem i wrote:

Daylight is gone, now its night,
Roaring we take flight,
A village down below quiet, sleeping,
Great black wings on which we come a creeping,
Our feeding frenzy starts, we leave an widow grieving,
Now on crimson wings we must be leaving
So we may find our next victim.

From the deepest darkest abbess the dragons take flight. Hunger drives them from their dank and musty cavern. They crave for their favorite food, human flesh. And so the darkness takes wing. The starless night cloaks the reapers. These dragons, this powerful evil, are ready to swoop down and sever the thread of life. These killing machines are ready to play. And so the hunt begins. Far below a town sleeps, blissfully ignorant to the dangers this night holds. Above the dragons linger in the blackness we call night, angels of death, waiting, watching for the perfect opportunity to strike. And so the fiends wait. A roar issues from the lead dragon's throat. It is time, time for the frenzy to begin. And so the darkness reigns.

And then i changed my writing style (people said my early work was too dark)

The touch of an infant is soft and mild,

like the petals of a rose newly bloomed,

who would of thought that when they get older they'll be wild,

for the things that are most important to learn are not taught in middle school or high school but in kindergarten.

A child is like a rosebush,

a seedling so tiny and fragile,

if ignored it will shrivel up and die but if nurtured and given tender care,

the rosebush flourishes,

and create something that will bring,

happiness and beauty for many years to come,

though it may have it thorns,

the beauty it creates surpasses any of its other features.

So let your child flourish;

nurture the infant because it will grow and,

bring you many joys and tears,

let him play,

have fun,

be merry,

we only have one chance to be a child.
