{Name} Whistle "Wes" Hallowell
{Age} 16
{Year} Fifth
{Gender} Male
{Looks} http://tinypic.com/r/2zob5hi/8
{Personality}
As the son of parents with a penchant for trickery and sadistic jokes, Wes was given the unfortunate name "Whistle." Wes felt the name alienated his masculinity, and because of such, was compelled to shorten his name to Wes. Sharing his family's Slitherin roots and the love for entertainment at the expense of others, by default, the young man was placed (as if you couldn't guess) in Slitherin. With little motivation beyond feeding off the misery of others, Wes devotes no time studying. He is deceptively smart, and thinks on his feet. He does enjoy surprising his professors on occasion with impressive responses and test scores, though he seldom finds the energy to do so. The fifth year finds friends only in those who dismiss his sadistic methodology, though he does take a liking to the younger student who are easily upset by his actions. Wes rarely talks, his actions speak for his thoughts. He is more likely to meet you with a condescending glare and pale lips stretched lifelessly into a sneer.
And don't let his actions be confused with those of the infamous Weasley Twins. Wes is not a practical joker. His favorite sound is whimpering of first years, or the rarer nose-wipe of an upperclassman too prideful to cry.
{House} Slitherin
{Pet} His animal of choice is an owl named "Maikatt," a name chosen to confuse others... ("I sent Maikatt to deliver your parcel." "You're sending your cat?" He was always met with bemused looks and raised eyebrows.)
{Family} Maura and Thames Hallowell
{Wand}10 inch Blackthorn Threstral tail hair
{Enemies} n/a
{Crush} n/a

@appleblizzard What's up with some people and selling characters?! Other people's work is not yours to sell.

For real, understand this. Their characters are not yours. They're theirs.

It's a horrible thing to do. Don't do it. Some people are inactive due to real life reasons. I know @swims is inactive because of that.

Just because they entered your roleplay and are inactive does not mean you are free to do whatever you want with their characters. I'm sure you are inactive in many roleplays. How would you feel if someone randomly decided to sell Elendei or Kyle away just because you didn't want to roleplay in that topic anymore?

Taking people's characters is theft and plagiarism. You people who think you can sell characters who some people have put actual work into should understand that. In real life it is punishable by court. On EggCave, I'll simply report you.

@jupiter_hollow

Well firstly, they have been absent for a while. Secondly, I know many like @applefudge who won't be RPing again.

You can report me but other people sell characters as well so...

@appleblizzard

Does it matter how many people do it, you are taking other people's work as if it's yours to do whatever you want with.

Does that seem right to you? Does it seem moral?

You have no right to take the work of others. I've told this to other roleplayers who have attempted to sell characters of other people. Like @dramatic
What you're doing is wrong.

@jupiter_hollow What do you mean by sell? I absolutely against other people controlling characters that aren't their own as well. I actually used to do it, but I didn't really know >.<
@appleblizzard Maybe just don't do it, if you don't want to get reported.
