@ashlinnhi Desa hardly paid enough attention to notice the older peoole in the compartment xD @appleblizzardThe boy in the hallway had now passed but Iridesa had already eavesdropped on the conversation and was rather intrigued. She closed the compartment door rather than exiting and gave the inhabitants what she hoped was a dazzling smile, though it may have been a grimace. She found herself slightly unnerved at the way one of the girls spoke about her father's House. As if she had any idea about it beyond the prejudices that have been widely spread. She decided to butt in the conversation."I hardly doubt being in Slytherin would be a thing worthy of such worry. It isn't different from the other Houses, since the pureblood supremacy has long ago been abolished. I find you may quite like it there, on the contrary." She told the worried girl with slight bitterness in her voice. Though she hadn't insulted Slytherin directly, Desa still found she resented her for being so misinformed. It was mostly her parents' fault, she mused, then forced herself to calm down.Looking beyond the girl and her black-haired companion, she saw a familiar face."Kyle, hello!" She greeted cheerily, her mood immediatelly lifted. "Hope you all don't mind me staying." And with that, she wedged herself between the girl and Kyle without further ado.

@jupiter_hollow @ashlinnhi{Elendei}"No sure, join us of course!" I said as the girl sat between us. "What is your name?""That's Iridesa." Said Kyle. I've known her for some time now.""Oh...hello Iridessa, I'm Elendei and this is Will, Willow and Ami." I smiled pointing to everyone. "And I'm not that much bothered by it, it's just my dad said that all the dark wizards were in Slytherin." I added.

@appleblizzard @ashlinnhiDesa smiled cheekily at her childhood friend. "Some time now?" She inquired, amused. "We've shared a nursery, Malfoy. Proverbially speaking." She couldn't help but tease him. They simply had never had any fun past that. She wasn't overly fond of the boy, that much she had to admit forlornly. There was a slight pang of guilt in her chest at the thought, but she truly couldn't help her dislike towards his antics. He was way too subdued, too quiet to be a Malfoy. Perhaps she was biased due to the things she'd read about Draco, her godfather. It was slightly unfair to expect the boy amount to the deeds of his father, especially considering none of them were praise-worthy, but she expected Kyle to at least have a little more spine than a jellyfish."Pleasure to make your acquaintance, everyone." She greeted politely, then turned her attention to the girl again. And found herself reeling.Elendei. Elendei Potter. Now that she thought about it, she recognized the name. Of course she was a Potter, her birth had been broadcasted widely for the world to see. The daughter of The Boy Who Lived. The hero of the wizarding world. And what a hero he was. Just as prejudiced as a pureblood would be. To know he was feeding his daughter false assumptions and fears made Desa fume with anger. She had her lips pursed tightly much like her father always did. She was only missing the glare but was polite enough to feign a small smile. She reminded herself it wasn't Elendei's fault. It was her father of all people. After everything that had occured during the second wizarding war, this was how Potter rewarded Desa's father for protecting him all those years at Hogwarts - ingraining fear and prejudice in his daughter against the Slytherins.Anger subsiding, Desa found she was primarily sad."Of course he would say that. He hasn't a clue what transpired in Slytherin house. I can assure you, though, the only Dark Wizard is long gone and not a threat anymore." She spoke with confidence and a bit of cockiness, but her words had a tinge of anger and resignation to them.

@jupiter_hollow @appleblizzard{Willow}"Oh come on, don't say that, Elendei. Look at Peter Pettigrew. He was in Gryffindor and he was a Death Eater..." I wasn't exactly trying to say something bad about our own house, but it was the truth.{Ami}Ami squeezed Iridesa's hand. "Just believe that your house is the best. You'll have plenty of fun at Hogwarts, that's for sure."__Ok I have no idea what I'm saying, don't know what to write for Ami XD
appleblizzard • 18 December 2014 at 3:08 AM
@ashlinnhi @jupiter_hollow{Elendei}"You're right." I sighed. "I'm gonna go for a...walk around."I stood up and walked out of the comparament doors. I opened a window and let the cold September air ripple through my hair.{Kyle}"What's with her?" I asked. I knew she was a bit upset but still. William made a movement to follow her but I stopped him. "Give her some space.""I am." He said sitting back down again."So...Desa how have you been?" I asked. She wasn't really my friend but I knew her well.

@ashlinnhi @appleblizzard-Despite her annoyance at the Potter girl leaving without an apology, Desa found herself smiling at the upperclassman that was holding her hand. She seemed sweet."Thank you, kindly. I'm sure all houses have their good and bad sides."At Kyle, she sighed exaggeratedly. "Gosh, these days have been horror. I managed to lose my wand yesterday. Yesterday!" She emphasized. "Just before my first day at Hogwarts, can you believe it? Sebastian had to side-long apparate us to Ollivander's. Dad caught us. And on top of that the old man ended up redirecting me to another wandshop branch!" Truly everything that had happened yesterday had been slightly beyond belief. They'd had to go to another country with a different timezone where it was still daytime and the wandshops were open. They'd gone by a Gregorovitch shop branch and managed to get Desa a wand. "We had to go to Romania, which was a bit of a hustle, but I got a birch wood wand!" She reached in her robes and unearthed a slender, pale cream, almost white wand. "Ollivander doesn't make any from birch wood. But it's so light weight and elegant, I wonder why he doesn't." As if to show off, she pointed it to one of the sweets on the table and flicked it to the end movement of Wingardium Leviosa, then muttered the charm. The sweet floated upwards."See? It works just fine. If anything it's more beautiful." she piped up proudly.
ashlinnhi • 21 December 2014 at 7:07 AM
@jupiter_hollow @appleblizzard I'm so sorry for not replying @_@{Ami}"Oh so you went to see Gregorovitch?" Ami had heard that he was quite a good wandmaker, almost as good as Ollivander. "You're quite good for you age, Desa," Ami commented. Unlike her. Although she hoped that it wasn't because Desa's parents had forced her to work hard. {Willow}I realised why Iridesa looked so familiar - she was the little girl in Ollivander's that day. That meant that she was also Sebastian's sister."Your brother can apparate? That means that he's a... 7th year?" ((Nope! XD))
jupiter_hollow • 21 December 2014 at 7:47 AM
@ashlinnhi np honey ^^ @appleblizzard-Desa nodded at the girl in ravenclaw attire. She hadn't remembered her name and was embarassed to admit it, but decided to play it off so as not to offend the girl. She seemed awfully nice to be in the house of arrogant brats. Then again, the idea she had of Ravenclaw was also borne of rumoured prejudice, wasn't it?She beamed at the praise she received, deciding to stirr clear of bigotry before she'd gained an opinion of her own."Oh, nonsense." she blushed. "It's a simpe first year charm. Surely you must have excelled in it as well. I reckon ravenclaw parents teach their children from an early age."Desa turned to Willow then, surprised to be spoken to so easily. By gryffindors and ravenclaws no less. She felt ashamed for having been skeptical about talking to the little group. They all seemed wonderful. Perhaps sans Potter and Black. As Elendei had gone out, she now found herself next to Kyle, with William Black a bit to her right. The enmity between them was palpable. It was no surprise that they'd started off on bad terms. Kyle was born Slytherin down to his bone marrow, even if he wasn't all too cunning, while the Black spawn probably shared his father's hate of the house of snakes. It seemed they had all had the war between their parents passed down to them. Pity. She focused on the upperclass Gryff sitting across from her, who'd inquired about her brother."Not... exactly." she fidgeted with the hem of her skirt. "He's in his 5th year and doesn't quite have an Apparition license, though he's passed the needed examinations early. It was slightly illegal, what we did, especially considering it was Side-Long apparition, but as you can see it turned out alright." She smiled at her own notion, then allowed herself a little more praise. "We Snapes tend to be early bloomers."
ashlinnhi • 23 December 2014 at 6:50 AM
{Ami}Ami blinked. How did Iridesa know that?{Willow}It seemed that Iridesa was a little arrogant. "Uh, ok..." I said uncomfortably, then changed the subject. "What are you looking forward to in Hogwarts?"@jupiter_hollow @appleblizzard
jupiter_hollow • 3 January 2015 at 8:02 AM
@ashlinnhi @appleblizzard *Revive* =P-As the Ravenclaw went silent, so did the Gryffindor girl, both seemingly feeling a bit awkward. Desa found herself a bit unnerved as well.At the Gryff's question, she cocked her head to the side and raised an eyebrow as if to say 'seriously?'."Being in a school for Witchcraft and Wizardry, ob-viously..." She strung out the last word in a very Snape-like manner, acquiring the Potion Master's befitting unamused expression. "I'll most probably be a Slytherin, so I can pester Kyle a many." She sent a teasing look at the boy, noting he was still somewhat out of the conversation. So was the other boy."Jesus, if you want to go after the Potter girl so bad, then be my guest. It's horrid to see you so out of it. Love potion much?"Just as she was looking out in the corridor where the blonde girl was, Sebastian passed by their compartment."Excuse me." he muttered while squeezing himself past Elendei and continuing down the lane.Desa quickly poked her head out of the compartment, however, and before he'd gone, yelled out: "Seb! Seb! Over here!"The boy halted in his tracks and eyed her in bafflement, then retreated to the compartment, standing in front of the entrance rather than going in, out of respect of privacy. "I had gone to look for you in 1st class.""You wouldn't've found me there. I made a detour and found Kyle." Desa smiled lightly, then poked Elendei's shoulder. "And also Potter girl." she told Sebastian, before pointing a thumb over her shoulder towards the back of the compertment. "And the Black spawn."Sebastian shot her an unamused look, resembling his father in that expression just as Iridesa had just minutes ago."Be nice." he instructed curtly.
appleblizzard • 4 January 2015 at 1:30 PM
@jupiter_hollow @ashlinnhi other people's characters for sale! pick anyone!{Elendei}Being poked in the back, I turned and said shortly, "I am not Potter girl if you must. I have a name." I raised my eyes at Desa and then looked at "Seb". He resembled his father a lot. Will shook hands with the new boy in the comparament. "William Black." Kyle also seemed to break out of the trance. "Yeah Desa always finds me." He said loudly before quietly adding, "Whether I like it or not."{Kyle}I knew Sebastian. He was realted to the others. He seemed to make more sense than the others. And he had more maners. "I am Kyle. You many know me already if Desa hadn't told you."Elendei had sat down again seeming interested for the first time in a while. I stared out of the window looking closely at a strangely shaped cloud. I examined it for a while becoming once more not involved in the conversation.{William}I noticed Kyle staring out into the clouds and with me sitting beside him, it was hard not to notice what he must be staring at. Kyle's eyes became fearful as the cloud changed into something that worried not just him. I opened the window to get a better view. I noticed that most of the other students were staring at the cloud too. Elendei joined me by the window and all three of us stared up at the now very clear Death Eater sign in the sky.{Elendei}I gasped sitting back down. I stared at my lap transfixed. I knew my father had noticed. It was obvious. I didn't want to look again. Everyone else thought otherwise. With everyone staring up at the sky, I buried my head in my hands and thought. If Voldemort was back, Hogwarts was in danger."Oh great. I'm not even a student and my future school is endangered." I thought.
ashlinnhi • 9 January 2015 at 11:13 PM
@appleblizzard @jupiter_hollow {Willow}I didn't appreciate what Desa had said before, but now I looked outside and almost had a heart attack. Voldemort... the person who was the most evil wizard imaginable. "Hey are we allowed to practise magic right now?" I asked suddenly. I thought it would be fun, since we were all a little tense right now.
jupiter_hollow • 11 January 2015 at 2:27 PM
@ashlinnhi @appleblizzard-At the Potter girl's comment, Iridesa turned to look at her. "Sorry, forgot your name." She said with a measured amount of sarcasm, grinning mockingly as she made her way inside the compartment after Sebastian. He was busy shaking hands with people he already knew, smiling lightly at Willow as he re-acquainted himself with Black and Malfoy."We grew up close, of course I remember you, Kyle." He smiled at Malfoy, beaming. He was all too happy about the courtesy the boy had grown into. Unlike his sister, Sebastian appreciated the lack of cockiness and pride in him that usually marked the Malfoy name. The strict pureblood supremasists born to that bloodline ruled out the possibility of change in the mindset of their offsprings but here was Kyle, born to the godson of Sebastian's father (a renowned pain in the back-side, according to Snape Senior), who was all politeness and good manners.Sebastian simultaneously anticipated and feared Kyle ending up in Slytherin - the House of Snakes had still not yet shed its pureblood supremacy prejudices, which he didn't want the boy picking up on, but at the same time, hoped Kyle was bright enough to stirr clear of.He took a seat next to the distracted boy with the intention of sparking a conversation when Kyle suddenly stood up and several gasps were emmited."Seb!" Desa screeched. He rose quickly, intending to go to her, but the object of everyone's observation caught his attention and he turned to the sight their compartment window overlooked; his schooled features crumpled in shock. "Is that the Dark Mark?" He heard his sister's voice amongst the abundance of others and tuned in only after the third repeat of the question when she'd tugged at his robe harshly."I don't-" his voice caught in his throat as he watched the ghastly shape unfold over the castle, growing bigger."Is he back!?" Desa's voice crumpled in a similar manner as she directed her accusatory tone at him, berating him for his silence with another tug at his clothes. "Is Voldemort back? Is he at Hogwarts?"Of course, Sebastian recognized the sign, painted on the sky as if it was copied from his book of Magical History or Desa's morbid newspaper clippings - it was less shapely and not as sharp and stark against the pale canvas of the sky as was the depiction of the Mark in drawings, but it was times more horrifying. He ripped his eyes away to look at Desa, who was pulling at him fiercely, intending to calm her down before she had turned completely hysterical, but she cut him off at the first syllable."De-""Apparate us!" she demanded feverishly, crumpling the hem of his robe in her whitened knuckle."Desa, calm down-" he pleaded, but she would have none of it."No, they could be at the castle! Dad's there!"Sebastian halted for a second, worrying as well now that the thought of his father near the Dark Lord crossed his mind. Logic overrode that worry, however, and he went back to taming his sister, who still fervently insisted that he apparate them into school grounds."Desa, the school has an anti-apparition jinx cast over it, I can't apparate inside those borders.""Just outside the perimeter then!" She insisted and he sighed. "Don't sigh at me we need to do something!""We can't be sure that it's real." He shot back, this time raising his voice in tone but not in pitch, calmly collecting the attention of everybody. Desa was giving him the most incredulous look and was visibly ready to jump his neck, but he raised a hand to her as a sign to listen. He directed that it to her shoulder then, placing it there for comfort even as she tried to shrug him off."It could be a prank." He said in a cooing voice. "It could be anyone that's doing this - a simple weather charm is all that's required and any shape of cloud can be achieved. We shouldn't come to conclusions so quickly before we're sure." His voice was quiet and gentle, regarding everybody in the compartment. His sister and Harry's daughter seemed to be the most distraught out of the whole company, while Willow was in the same state of mind as he, trying to ease the tension. He nodded appreciatively at her suggestion before continuing."I'm sure this isn't the first time someone pulled such a prank - an effective scare for the wizarding students on their way to the castle. Don't fear so easily. Elendei's father killed Voldemort years ago, I trust he was successful in defeating him once and for all." He turned to the blonde girl holding her head in her hands and placed his other hand on her shoulder. "Don't you?" He prompted.
ashlinnhi • 13 January 2015 at 6:45 AM
@jupiter_hollow @appleblizzard {Ami}"Desa, you should stop worrying. Just listen to your brother," Ami said gently. __Sorry for the awfully short post, I honestly don't know what to write :/
appleblizzard • 13 January 2015 at 12:38 PM
@ashlinnhi @jupiter_hollow {Elendei}"Listen to Seb. He's right." Said Will. "You can't apparate or disapparate in or out of Hogwarts."I frowned thinking. My thoughts seemed to be going through a processor. I looked up suddenly as a sudden thought struck me. "If Voldemort is back...then...Hogwarts is at risk of being destroyed."{Will}I frowned at Eli's thought. "He wants my father." I said guilt swallowing me. "When he was supposed to die, he was rescued without your father knowing. He's after him and us.""Why us?" She asked cocking her head."Because a) I am Black's son and b) you are Potter's daughter. He probably wants us even more than our fathers themselves." I explained. Whilst the others thought about this, I gazed outside at the still visible though not clearly mark of the Dark Lord outside.{Kyle}I shifted uncomfortably in my seat. Whilst everyone was working out that this meant world end, I thought about things carefully. If the Dark Lord was gone for many years, he may not remember my father and not know about me. If he does, he'll want me on his side but I wouldn't want to fight or get killed either.I made eye contact with Desa and made sure she understood what I was thinking. If I concentrate hard, Desa usually knows what I am feeling and thinking.I try to get the message along and wait for her reply.
jupiter_hollow • 13 January 2015 at 2:58 PM
@ashlinnhi @appleblizzardSebastian couldn't help but screw his eyes shut in exasperation at the two children speculating ridiculous possibilities. He wasn't as judgemental as Desa but their conversation was positively annoying. Perhaps they thought they were entitled to heroism just because their fathers had been fighters in the last war. It was awfully tedious to listen to them naming themselves martyrs on the basis of a wonkily shaped cloud.Desa, on the other hand, didn't hold back her remarks."What would the Dark Lord want you for? More than your fathers at that. You're children, hardly more valuable than the Boy-Who-Lived, one hero he is, and his godfather."At that point Sebastian had rushed to interfere."Desa, Desa, hush now. We shouldn't think such things just because of a cloud. It's silly, all of you. We can't be sure." He insisted, urging them to see reason. It was a simple cloud for god's sake. He'd seen many such pranks in the newspapers. The dark mark had been used thoroughtly in numerous marketing businesses as well as jokes now that it wasn't a symbol that signified inmediate danger.Yet he knew that a Mark above Muggle London and a Mark above Higwarts were two different things... The castle was a protected destination, put under multiple Fideliuses and well-hidden from the human eye. He knew there were some students capable and driven to pull such a prank but none were at Hogwarts yet. Nobody could cast such a powerful weather charm even in their seventh year and that was a fact no matter how much he avoided admitting it. He doubted any teachers had such a dark humour so as to scare the children so severely. In all actuality, it was quite possible that the Mark had been dark magic. Perhaps not the return of the Dark Lord, but still someone dark.He knew Iridesa was well aware of that too.She glared at the self-entitled Black-Potter duo, angry that she had been cut off once again before she could give them a piece of her mind. They were no heroes and yet they spoke of themselves in the highest of regards, as if they were the obvious target - the most valuable prizes. She sneered, furious now. Potter and Black seniors weren't around and their brats were in the safety of the train. But did nobody think of Desa's father? The Dark Lord's most trusted servant and his biggest traitor, one of the keys to his demise - what would be done to him if Voldemort were back. What punishment would he serve for having been on the side of Light for years before Voldemort's fall, aiding the Potter child so he could go on to defeat the monster? They were all the children of the Dark Lord's enemies but she doubted they were of any value to him. No, he probably wouldn't bother with incompetent brats except perhaps for extortion against their parents. The dark side would have no use of brats like them all, Desa was sure. But they would definitely want their fathers. She immediatelly shot up to look at Kyle, her face downcast much like his. His face was painted with the same worry and he was intently trying to convey what was already obvious - he was the son of an ex-Death Eater as well. A traitor to the dark side. They shared a fear, that much was obvious. She offered a look of sympathy, trying to comfort him to the best of her abilities, then looked up at Sebastian, determination lighting her face."We can't be sure that it's safe. You know better than me the oddd of a prank of that proportion being pulled at Hogwarts of all places, especially when it's empty of students."Sebastian regarded her with a frown and held her gaze for a while before heaving a sigh. Their father was certainly right - Desa was a child with complex demands. He couldn't rationalize her insistence as a whimsy this time, however. He knew better than to doubt her care."We can send a message to the castle." He offered to the worried occupants of the compartment. "Check for any worrisome events other than the cloud. I suppose we shouldn't speculate without proof."Desa beamed. "You can send Nib with a message to dad." She offered helpfully to her brother, squeezing Kyle's hand with enthusiasm. Sebastian simply shook his head after a thoughtful pause."I've a better idea." He intercepted her enthused chatter, unearthing his wand. "It'll settle your worry, surely, as it's more fool-proof than sending an owl."Twisting his sleeve cuffs out of the way, Sebastian concentrated and swirled his wand in circular motions, his mind supplying the necessary images for the charm to work."Expecto Patronum." And just like that, in a burst of light, a silver hawk burst from the tip of the rowan wood, large and imposing, and beat its wings once before settling onto the caster's shoulder. The bird was blurred and only partially corporeal but Sebastian still shuddered from the soft glide of the magic over his shoulder. "Check if it's safe." He instructed the bird and watched it screech once, then swoop out of the window in a blur of silver light.
appleblizzard • 21 January 2015 at 5:57 AM
@jupiter_hollow @ashlinnhi {Elendei}As Seb cast the patronus, I sat down without thinking. I thought for a minute. Seb was right, what would Voldemort want with us? After all we are just kids. We haven't even been in school. Will was probably just making stuff up. Too seem smart. Oh well. Time to calm.
ashlinnhi • 21 January 2015 at 6:33 PM
@jupiter_hollow @appleblizzard {Ami}"Guys... I don't think we should jump to conclusions so quickly, though. William, how are you so sure that Voldemort was saved? How do you know?" Ami didn't like the conversation they were having. Speaking of the Dark Lord had always made her uncomfortable. It was like it cast a feeling of dread and fear - and it technically did. Ami liked to stay happy all the time. Mainly because she never got it at home.{Willow}I wasn't really focused on the conversation anymore. I was more interested in the supposed Dark Mark in the sky. I was slowly breaking apart, dissolving into the clouds.
appleblizzard • 22 January 2015 at 2:18 AM
@ashlinnhi {William}"Who else would conjure up a dark mark for nothing?" I asked. Okay so I was being extreme but hey this was fun. The mark had faded by now and the train was silent it seemed. I looked out of the window and was surprise. "Hey guys look, it's the school!"
ashlinnhi • 24 January 2015 at 12:32 AM
@appleblizzard @jupiter_hollow {Ami}I almost laughed out loud in relief at the sight of the great castle. Just looking at it made me cheerful again. After another few minutes, the train stopped and we all got out. "Hey, good luck on being sorted into your houses!" I said the the first years.
appleblizzard • 24 January 2015 at 6:17 AM
@ashlinnhi @jupiter_hollow {Elendei}I jumped up and walked outside. A giant of a man waved and called "First years! All ya first years!"I grabbed Scilent and headed over to him. "Ah. Hello. Potter's girl are you?" He asked staring at me. Wondering how he knew me, I waited for Kyle and Will to get here.{Will}I arrived next to Elle with Kyle. I knew that this was Hagrid, father had told me many times about him. We stood waiting for everyone to come. I couldn't wait to go and get sorted!
jupiter_hollow • 27 January 2015 at 3:27 AM
@ashlinnhi @appleblizzard you guys don't really like waiting for people do ya? XD-From then on it was silence from the Snapes. They weren't particularly keen on socializing in general and unlike their visibly unfazed compartment companions, couldn't shake off the dread of the Dark Mark's memory. They were too qell acquainted to the symbol and the associations that came along with it to wave off the notion of darkness so easily. Being well informed was perhaps a disadvantage in this case, seeing how nobody else thought twice of the matter after they'd finished their silly theatrics. Sebastian on the other hand couldn't shake the image of the whithered pale snake tattoo on torn and bloodied skin.Desa didn't share the sentiment but was just as mortified by the prospect of Dark Magic in Hogwarts. They returned to their compartment with wordless nods of gratitude to Black, who had wished them luck, and worn smiles directed at anyone that bothered to acknowledge their leave.Fully intending to plop down on the seats and leisure around until the train stopped fully, Desa slammed the compartment door open to find a partially familiar blonde already occupying her space."What are you doing here?" She snapped at the Hufflepuff boy and watched him blush in embarassment like he'd done in the hall a while ago. Sebastian seemed to not have the energy to berate her on her rudeness and simply smiled encouragingly at the boy not to let her intimidate him."This is Alfonzo Katnippei - Hufflepuff in his fourth year. We're... relatively well-acquainted. He's-""Don't care." Desa cut off her brother and lifted a foot to insistently toe at the boy's shin. This resulted in Alfonzo scooting away into a corner and letting the girl sprawl herself on the seat."Apologies." Sebastian said to Alfonzo and Desa found herself more annoyed at that than she should have been. "She's under stress lately. I'm sure you noticed the symbol in the sky just now. Worrisome, really."The blonde nodded sympathetically, wringing his hands in a manner that actually seemed slightly excited rather than worried."Odd innit?" Alfonzo asked hushedly and had the sentence not been breathed out it would have sounded like an enthusiastic chirp. "Not many a student would do such a thing, do you reckon?" He wondered and Sebastian frowned from the seat opposite of him."I'd rather we not talk about it." Sebastian mumbled. The blonde seemed to be placated by the implication that he was making someone uncomfortable and they all sunk in silence until the train pulled to a stop.As if on queue, while they were gathering their luggage, a burst of light entered the compartment and a slender raven landed on Senastian's shoulder with a wobble. Desa sat up and screamed in terror at the unexpected appearance of the patronus and Alfonzo just gasped in awe. Before Sebastian had had a chance to recover from his shock, the deep reverberating voice of his father echoed solemnly in the compartment.{There is no danger as of now. There will be further discussion in the Great Hall.}The raven turned its head to Sebastian as if gouging his reaction, then disappeared in a pop of white magic as soon as the boy opened his mouth."Well... there it is." He mumbled not at all reassuringly and redirected his gaze to Desa in a poor attempt to prompt her calmness. The girl was positively hysterical due to the combined shock of the bird's entrance and its words. After that everything seemed to settle as no further discussion was necessary. Alfonzo did try to spark some conversation but his every attempt was quenched by the Snape siblings. They departed towards the exit shortly. The train was slowly emptying. As they descended, Alfonzo made towards the carriages with a cheery wave and a smile. He dragged his luggage along with some difficulty and loaded it into one, sitting patiently and waiting for Sebastian as he and Desa paused in front of the train."It's alright, you know, the boats are heavily warded against all magic, so you'll be safer there." The ravenheaded boy was explaining to his sister. She didn't seem at all convinced but nodded tersely anyway."Do be careful" she instructed and the manner of her speech was so very Snape-like. Sebastian smiled fondly and left her to her own devices, making towards Alfonzo's carriage.Desa on the other hand reluctantly followed Hagrid without noticing much of her surroundings.

@jupiter_hollow @appleblizzard Sorry, school's started, so I might reply late :l{Ami}Ami walked into the Great Hall and sat down at the Ravenclaw table. She was really excited to see who would be new in Ravenclaw...{Willow}I was feeling pretty hungry, which was weird. We'd had all that food on the train... But I was more eager to see the sorting ceremony. It would be quite fun to have Elendei in my house, I guess. The sorting started. There seemed to be quite a long line this year, more than last year. Yep, Hogwarts was the best.
