As she was walking, she saw a body of a cat. She walked over to it. Definitely a ThunderClan apprentice. It was her friend, Foxpaw, his ginger fur now black with ash. There was no way she could bury him by herself, so she decided to come back for his body later. She continued her way to the stream. She smelled ShadowClan! She started running toward the scen. "Hello!" She meowed.

Viperfang rolled away from Waspclaw and watched the tom. "Did everywhere burn?" She asked glancing behind Waspclaw and onto ThunderClan land-everything there looked scorched but it might have just been the area near ShadowClan.
She tensed as a sound of pawsteps sounded behind them and whirled around to see a familiar gray figure hobbling out of hte woods behind them.

Silverpool looked up and saw the Thunderclan cat. "Get away,she growled,We've got enough if our own problems."

Rabbitleap saw Silverpool tense getting ready to pounce on the Thunderclan warrior. He put himself in front of the mad she-cat. " Come down Silverpool"he whispered."Hello"he said to the Thinderclan cat. "What brings you here?"

Moonsong was frightened by the sudden intrusion. She hissed and ran off, then realized it was a Thunderclan cat instead of a Shadowclan. Thunderclan cats were fairly nice, from her experience. She'd made a good friend of one in a gathering. "Bury your friend?" She looked surprised.

Tanglesight nodded, not wanting to converse with a Thunderclan cat, but having no choice. "Yes, I'll try to help. I'm not that much of an.. Elder." He grinned.

Moonsong glanced at Tanglesight. "Dad, you know you're too old." But then she added in, "I'll help you though. And I'm sure Silverpool and Rabbitleap will, too." She looked at them for emphasis. "Right?"

Tanglesight huffed at his daughter. "I am most certainly not too old!" He thought about it for a moment. "Well.. Maybe I am just a bit.."

Viperfang shook her head sadly. "What's happened to the rest of the Clans?" She asked as Graypelt joined them followed by Lynxpaw, Ravenfield, Shadowbrook and Silentfall. Kin of Viperfang's, well all but Ravenfield, but they'd been best friends as kits.
Viperfang released the breath she'd been holding.
"Lynxpaw, aren't you friends with that Bonepaw cat from your Clan?" She asked addressing the golden black spotted cat curiously.

I felt happy for Viperfang, most of her family was alive, yet mine had already been long dead or I hated them.

{Bonepaw}
I woke, ashes had fallen onto my fur, staining it pale gray, I stood up and looked around, growling. The forest had burned everything. I hung my head, for once filled with grief for the now black forest. Then I thought, /is anyone for my clan alive?/ I caught scent of Lynxpaw, and followed it, hopping she was alive, she was one of the only cats I was ok with in the clan.

She dipped her head respectfully to the cats. "Eat first, then please help me." She sat by the stream, peering into it to look for fish. She made sure her shadow never touched the water. She quickly swiped a fish out and killed it. "Here." She dropped it in front of Tanglesight. "Elders eat before us."

Viperfang nudged Waspclaw gently. "What's wrong?" she asked and the remains of RiverClan and ShadowClan joined them.

Lynxpaw turned around at the sound of pawsteps behind us and braced herself for danger. But as she realizedit was just Bonepaw she allowed herself to relax slightly.

She looked at Rabbitleap. "Of course. My mentor was taught by a RiverClan cat how to fish. He decided tat teaching his apprentice might do ThunderClan good." She padded over to the stream. "Sit and make sure your shadow doesn't touch the water. Also make sure the fish don't get the chance to see you." She demonstrated. "Now when it feels right." She caught a fish really fast. "When you feel the scales of the fish, cup your paw around it, and throw it on the ground before biting it. You have to make sure to kill it before it has the chance to get away."

Tanglesight looked at the young Thunderclan cat with newfound respect. She knew the clan's rules well, and could've made a good Windclan cat. "Thank you." He nodded to her as she tried to teach Rabbitleap how to fish. He munched into the fish. 'Slimy, but tasty,' He thought too himself.

Moonsong watched Blossompetal catch the fish. She sat down by the stream and took note of the fishing lessons with Rabbitleap.

Rabbitleap settled down beside the water carefully making sure his shadow didn't show on the water's surface. He saw a fish lashed out and caught it in his paws,quickly biting it's neck with a bite.

Silverpool watched her eyes filled with awe as Rabbitleap caught a fish so fast.

"And besides I'm hardly related to these cats but by Graypelt and it's a very faint blood line, I'm pretty sure you're related to over half your clan if you follow single ancestor logic."

"After the burial, we should find some shelter. There's an old Twoleg house on my territory that may have escaped the fire." She added. "On ThunderClan's old territory."

Moonsong turned to Blossompetal. "Sounds good to me. I don't mind a bit of Thunderclan stink if we're safe for the night." Then she turned to Rabbitleap. "Oh.. Well.." She thought for a second. "All of the herbs burned down, I bet. So we couldn't find Comfrey without going farther away from Clan territory." She added. "Um.. Lets make a brace from leaves! Then we can carry you!"

Tanglesight looked at her incredulously. "What?"

"If we make a brace and device to carry him with, we can each grab on a side and hold him up." Moonscar stated.

"Would that really work, though?" Tanglesight settled his gaze on the ground, his old eyes darting from one burnt leaf, blade of grass, hardened ground to the next. He stood up. "I'm not leaving Rabbitleap alone, however." He stated matter-of-factly.
