Someone was outside Camp Lone Wolf's boundaries past 10:00 p.m. It was a dead give away that this couldn't be a beast of the night, since the figure was something that could be crushed under one of them. They were heading towards Mount Ashenfield, which the only obstacle to make it over there was Ravenclaw Precipice, and it takes an eternity to make it to the other side. "Cycneas, come on, don't do this to me again, aren't we friends?" the voice echoed through out the trees. "We need to hurry! Those crazy inmates are right about the storm, and if you don't hurry, I'm most likely going to get caught by someone!"

@aetherstar The small clearing was quiet but for the crackling of flames. Myra sighed as she stared at the campfire; she had been stranded here for almost a month now, and she still hadn't made any progress in fixing her device. The girl looked to her companion, who was sleeping on the ground next to her. She had met Erlantz on her first day in this place. The two of them had struck up an odd companionship, Myra helping the Tasma find and gather food while Erlantz told the human about the island. But now they were running low on food, which seemed to be getting harder to find by the day, and Myra feared they would soon have to leave the relative safety of their current location on Ravenclaw Precipice to search for it elsewhere.

@myrna_maeve Proculus grunted as the mountain mocked him far beyond his reach. The view was so evocative, but there was no time to waste. Staring at the drop below, it was clear that this was the slope that was going to be the end of him in someway. Proculus gripped onto a rock, staring at the dim, yet bright sky, which was quite unusual for night. Unfocused, he continued his way down. His assumption of knowing the location of the rocks was killed as one second, the balance was completely fine, and the next was spent tumbling down the earth of Ravenclaw Precipice. Groaning, Proculus sat up in a damp pile of soil, completely dazed for inappropriately guessing where he was heading. The odor of smoke filled the air. It could've been a tree Cycneas struck down with lightning, or an unfriendly fire elemental. Whatever it was, he began approaching the smoke and ashes in the air. The light of the fire was barely visible and the warmth of the fire increased with every step.

@aetherstar Erlantz sat up suddenly, startling Myra. "Something's coming," said the Tasma. He nudged Myra with his paw. "Go check it out.""Why should I go check it out?" the girl asked indignantly."Because you have an enchanted halberd," Erlantz stated simply. "Also, it's your watch, not mine. Hop to it, human girl!"Myra rolled her eyes. "Don't call me that." She stood, grabbing her halberd. "Which way?""That-a-way," Erlantz said, nodding his head in the direction of a nearby slope. "It's that way.""'Kay, I'm off. I'll be right back." Myra taped a rune on the blade of her halberd, and the blade began to glow with a soft red light. Then the girl set off in the direction Erlantz had indicated.

Proculus stared at the daunting light. Backing away slowly, he knew he had to leave. Not being a prudent person, he stared behind Myra. Proculus had to confront whoever was there. He adjusted the strange skull on his head. "Leave..."
myrna_maeve • 8 November 2014 at 11:44 PM
@aetherstar Myra raised an eyebrow at the strange figure before her. "Hello to you too, whoever you are. Nice skull." She rested her halberd on her shoulder in a relaxed stance. "What are you doing all the way out here? You're the first human I've seen in a month." The girl paused for a moment. "Well, if you ARE a human, anyway. You could be a vampire or something for all I know."

@myrna_maeve (Oops, forgot to Ping) He bashfully glanced at the ground. "Well, I have I pet-" Proculus sighed. "-d-dragon. Yes, it's not normal, but she's been missing for about, uh, ten days now? I thought she created some fire here, but now it's clear this is not the place Cycneas is." He nervously stared into Myra's eyes. "Proculus Sextilius Aquila, escaped member of Camp Lone Wolf."
myrna_maeve • 8 November 2014 at 11:58 PM
@aetherstar (it's cool)Myra gave Proculus an impressed look. "A dragon? Impressive. But yeah, that isn't her fire; it's mine." She shrugged. "Sorry. Anyway, I'm Myra Vesper, wandering traveler. What's Camp Lone Wolf, and what do you mean by 'escaped'?"
aetherstar • 9 November 2014 at 12:08 AM
@myrna_maeve "Camp Lone Wolf, such a name means evil in every language." He sat among some stones. "They despised my pet just for stealing lantern oil, despite it being one of the millions upon millions in their possession." He picked up a stick and scratched the unknown skull. "Sending her on her way, it's just wrong having to let her go. That camp is a prison. Save yourself!"
myrna_maeve • 9 November 2014 at 12:11 AM
@aetherstar Myra frowned. She had been right in not wanting to leave the area if there was a place like that nearby. "Save myself? Are they after you, then?"
aetherstar • 9 November 2014 at 9:23 AM
@myrna_maeve Proculus nodded. "Well, I hope not," He panted. "Counselors are pretty rude." His gaze was focused on the burning fire. "Is that where you live?"
myrna_maeve • 9 November 2014 at 12:07 PM
@aetherstar "It's where I'm staying," Myra said evasively; she couldn't just tell a random stranger she was from another dimension. "Along with my companion, Erlantz. Speaking of," she turned around to face the fire, "Erlantz, c'mere! We have company!"Erlantz came out from behind the fire, grumbling. "Obviously we have company; I'm the one who told you someone was there." He plodded over to stand beside Myra.Myra rolled her eyes and turned back to Proculus. "Proculus, meet Erlantz. He's a Tasma. Erlantz, this is Proculus. I'm pretty sure he's human."
aetherstar • 9 November 2014 at 3:15 PM
@myrna_maeve "Human, defenseless human," Proculus crouched down and reached out to hug the Tasma. "where did you find this technicolor wolf you call a Tasma? He's just, so cute, and he's starting to burn my eyes with an amazing force, I think..."
myrna_maeve • 9 November 2014 at 8:12 PM
@aetherstar Erlantz smirked proudly. "Hear that, I'm cute."Myra rolled her eyes, but she was smiling. "Yes, Erlantz, I heard. You weren't all that cute when I found you stuck in a hole in a tree."The Tasma pouted. "It's not my fault that squirrel ran into the hole.""Yes, but you're the one who tried to follow it."
aetherstar • 9 November 2014 at 10:03 PM
@myrna_maeve "This is going to spiral out of control in few seconds, I better get going if it is!" Proculus sprinted between the two. He stopped in front of the blaze; he then skulked towards the other side of the precipice. "No need to fight, you two!" He called back to people who probably couldn't hear him.
myrna_maeve • 9 November 2014 at 11:28 PM
@aetherstar Both human and Tasma turned to look at Proculus curiously."We were just having some playful banter," Myra said, "not fighting. Where are you going in such a hurry?""Seriously, it's dangerous to go off by yourself in these parts," Erlantz added. "Especially when you don't have a weapon."
aetherstar • 11 November 2014 at 3:38 PM
@myrna_maeve He turned to face the two. "Really? I must go with a weapon?" What could've possibly attacked you that convinced you two that one was mandatory?" He continued on his way. "Besides, you seem new around here!"
myrna_maeve • 11 November 2014 at 3:54 PM
@aetherstar Myrna and Erlantz looked at each other before turning and following after Proculus. The girl spoke first. "Technically, I'm the one who's new around here. Erlantz has lived here for most of his life.""As to what attacked us, well," Erlantz said, "first there was that mad bear...""Then that pack of wild dogs...""And that strange metal human that wanted to 'delete' me and 'upgrade' Myrna...""I still don't understand what a Cyberman was doing here. Anyway, the point is there's a lot of weird and dangerous stuff out here, and it's best to be on guard."
