Chapter 5: The Brink of Exposion
Later that night, Ellie went out on a walk with Ares, Ellie sat in a field with nobody else but him, looking down at the city from under a tree. She saw the cars go by. "Ellie?" Ares asked. "Yes, Ares?" Ellie said. "Do you have anything to tell me?" Ares replied. "NO, NOTHING, NOT AT ALL!" She hesitated. "Are you... British?" Ares asked. "No, I'm not, I'm not!" She fell back. "But you just showed an accent!" Ares frowned. "Fine, fine. I'm British. Don't tell anyone." Ellie said. "Do you have anything ELSE to tell me?" Ares made a puppy dog face. "No, I don't." She made an excuse, but was dominant about it. "W-well, I do..." She sttutered. "I don't think you're ready for it. Here's a hint. "Sneaky"" she said. "Sneaky... Sneaky... I don't have a clue." He said. "You're not supposed too." She said. "You'd be scared." Ellie continued. "No I wouldn't Ellie." Ares replied. "I'm sure you would." Ellie pulled Ares close and rested her head on his shoulder. "Well, I must go...'' She said. The moon was full. "Hmm... You're a werewolf aren't you!" Ares said. "Actually, no. I'm just tired." She said. "We can be together... maybe." Ares said. "What do you mean 'together'?" Ellie said. "I just meant... Out here I brought some blankets." Ares said. "Well... I guess so." Ellie said. She fell asleep on the pillow immediately. "That was quick! I shall watch her sleep, like a stalker." He said jokingly. Sindoka landed on a tree branch. "That owl is creeping me out though..." Ares said."I'm not the only creepy one! You wanna watch her sleep!" Sindoka hooted at him. "I didn't mean it-- wait did you just talk?!" Ares said. Sindoka flew away. "Just my imagination getting the best of me." Ares sat on a blanket and looked at the stars. He swear he saw a dragon. He shook Ellie. "Wake up, wake up!" He said. "Ares is it important? I was in the middle of a dream about having star sequins on my hands that lit up and blinded evil." She said. "That's interesting... I saw a dragon in the stars... It's blue and has a streak of grey across its scales..." He said. "What? Sorry I've been half asleep, you're just hallucinating." Ellie said. "I am not!" Ares said. Ellie was already back asleep. "Such a dreamer..." Ares said and fell asleep by her. Sindoka flew back down on the branch. "I get to watch them sleeeep... Heeheehee." Sindoka giggled. "Ugh, Sindoka, stop messing around!" Serinka said. "But it's my job!" The owl frowned. "Well, I don't care. We're not supposed to be stalking them!" Serinka lectured her. "Stupid face!" Sindoka said immaturely. "Sindoka you're acting like a five year old..." Serinka was getting ticked off. "You can't make me stop stalking them!" Sindoka said. "DO YOU WANT ME TO BITE YOU AGAIN, SINDOKA?!" Serinka slithered over and threatened. "No, not at all. It hurts, I'll be mature..." Sindoka said folding her wings.
