I apologize if there is a thread about it already, but I didn't see one, so...

Anyone play Webkinz, or used to play Webkinz? What's your favorite pet? How many pets did/do you have? If you still play, what is your dream pet?

I shamelessly have well over 200. Really, I think I like collecting more than I like playing the actual game (kind of like here, only I collect the pets themselves rather than names, since you can name your pet anything). I am currently a Deluxe member, but I'm not sure I'm going to renew it since, as I said, the game itself doesn't really appeal to me all the time. I play it in phases. I think what motivated me to buy it in the first place was the promo Harmony Crane pet that came with it. 😋

Ah, I remember Webkinz.
I don't remember how many pets I had, but I remember the Husky was my favorite. I'm not very interested in the game anymore, but I still like the stuffed animals.

It was fun collecting them.

My cousin gave me a Webkinz raccoon plush on my 5th birthday, slightly over a year after the website launched ... I bought 100+ of those things. I remember my favorites being a Signature German Shepherd I named Sage and a Signature Cocker Spaniel I named Buffy (after my parent's spaniel, who had long since passed before I was born).

Back when Webkinz was at its peak, everyone in my class at school had an account on there (including our teacher, though she only created one so we could friend her). I was in 2nd grade then.

Good memories, those are! All my plush toys are boxed up in the basement now ... I should try to revive them sometime.

Haha, my dad logs on to my account every day to play that game Atlantiles, or whatever it's called. And we play checkers or Link'd on there from time to time (I have a side account that I log in on for that), since I don't have the physical games.
