Option to Turn off Gobblers

As I am not participating in the 'Find the Gobblers' event, I am finding them very, very annoying. I would love it if there was an option to turn them off, because they are putting themselves over 'Reply' buttons, over creatures, basically, everything.

This would decrease how much I hate this event, because I am not active this late in the year, and seeing those on my wall when I try to type it annoying.
