@starly @rushingwater @cutebirdy79 Eryka made her way to the next safehouse she needed to check. She looked at her list. The one is the third quadrant near a newly established alien base. Hmph. Eryka folded the piece of paper back into her pocket. Paper was rare these days, so being seen with it would cause suspicions. She glanced back and forth as she paced herself to it. Not too fast and not too slow to attract the alien army. Kri was ahead already and taking a look at the safehouse to see if any aliens were there. Kri, anybody there? She spoke to him in her mind, as her species are able to do so. A moment passed. He responded in her mind with his cracky voice. Seems that some people are there, but they aren't from the alien army. She responded by quickening her pace slightly enough not the get noticed. I'll get there soon.Only a block away and she would be there. Kri, do you know what kind of people are there? The safehouse was in sight. Kri alighted onto her shoulder as she reached the entrance of the safehouse."Knock, knock. Hello, anyone in here?"~EDITFor some reason, I feel like this RP reminds me of a past RP I was in.. I just can't put my finger on it..

@SpiritKoi @Starly-- [[ Skye ]] -- "Hello." Skye stepped out and looked the girl in the eye. "I bet you remember me," she said with a smile. "I'm here to fight with you. I'm not going to run away again. Take me to the headquarters, please. I want to be put in my proper rank and to lead a squadron of my own."[[So pretty much Skye is gonna build a squadron consisting of whoever's characters want to join and fight the alien army... eventually 😋]]#rushy

@jupiter_hollow @rushingwater @starly @spiritkoi @cutebirdy79 An old, diesel powered locomotive pulling a single passenger wagon made it's way up the mountain. The train was nearly empty, mostly due to the weather. There was no good reason for anyone to travel during a snow storm.Among the passengers there was a group of teenage boys who, as one could conclude form their conversations, planed to make a point of something by spending a week in the wilderness. An elderly man and a small child and her mother were also there but they remained mostly silent and it was hard to guess why they were traveling. Rickard studied them closely even though he was turned towards the window and seemed distant and lost in through while watching snow covered branches and houses a top of hills on the other side of the glass. His features were set in a neutral expression and gave away little of what was going through his head. He was very worried and praying to a god from a far away word that everything turns out well. If all of those humans sitting around him were to freeze to death in the next hour it would have meant nothing to him but if they got off at the same station as him it would have been an problem. Even though he was in an isolated mountain region he did could not make a scene and risk revealing the location of a potentially very important gathering. The passing of images on the window slowed until a square, two story building close by the rails came into focus and the train came to a full stop. The structure was in a bad state, it's creamy walls were crumbling, worn out by age. Obviously no one cared to invest money and effort into maintaining it. The only implication that it was a station were the red letters painted on the front of it, fortunately they were still intact enough for Rick to realize that it is time for him to exit. He got up from his seat, zipped up his jacker and walked out silently without even glancing at the humans. Fortunately, none of them followed. He had prepared for the cold by putting on multiple layers of clothing but even despite this he began to shiver violently once he was exposed to the icy air. His body always reacted strongly to low temperatures because it fought against freezing by activating all of his muscle structure. The disguised alien was even somewhat worried it would force him to change form against his will. With that in mind, he hurried along the route he had memorized. It was good that he easily identified aspects of the terrain, could orientate around them and knew that he should go past the station and enter the forest. A path was recognizable among the trees and he followed it, gradually moving farther from the semi populated area he had arrived at. There didn't seem to be a single living thing in the entire region, everything was peaceful, the only sound Rick could detect were his own footsteps in the snow. Altogether the ambient was even somewhat eerie since it gave him the impression that someone had baited him out and was going to attack at any moment. However the logical segment of his mind ensured him that everything was in order, it wasn't so unusual that it was taking him long to get to the meeting place. The woods didn't conceal as much as they did during other seasons when there were leaves up on the trees and these people only gathered at places they were sure wouldn't be found. Not attracting attention was truly an important detail if Rick's suspicions about their reason for coming together were correct. He didn't know the actual name of such events but the lesser ranked members of the army simply called them "cleanings". In the past it didn't make sense to Rick that cleanings were always done in secret, he even considered that they would be more effective if done publicly. However after taking part in a number of them he started to understand why the process was more effective when none of the enemy were aware of it happening. Rumors would arise of things much worse than what was actually being done, tortures that were so brutal they were probably also impossible. Finally after nearly an hour of walking he found what he had been looking for. Some distance in front of him a massive white figure stood static among the branches. It's body seemed to be composed of a large number of bone like components but no skin or flesh whatsoever. If it hadn't been for the intense fire burning behind it it's color and appearance would have masked it perfectly in the winter scenery. The smoke from the flame reached Rick and confirmed his assumptions. The smell was a distinctive one, horrid and sickening for anyone who hadn't sensed it before. He himself was even somewhat use to it at that point. -"Am i late?" He was very sure that was the case. The other alien followed him with its gaze while he approached and narrowed its eyes into a glare after he spoke. For a moment it seemed that it wouldn't respond to the question and would just continue to threaten him quietly.-"Yes, but i still have work for you." The pale creature moved towards a pair of large, white trucks, avoiding all of the aliens unloading them with grace. Rich followed, knowing that there was more he needed to hear, however he didn't do as well at dodging the workers and hit into one of them. The creature cursed at him, both in an Earthly language he understood and in some other tongue which sounded sharper. He was curious but decided that he was better off not knowing the meaning of the second part. -"Why do you look like one of those things?" The alien apparently hadn't done much if he needed to ask such a thing."I was in a train with them just now, it'll take me some time to change." Rick climbed onto one of the vehicles and attempted to lift part of the cargo even without his advanced strength. The task was much more difficult than he expected and rather than being of any use he ended up looking comical. The creature smiled at him, amused. -"Don't bother with that. You're here for something else." It paused, a more puzzled looks appeared on it's face. " What's a train?" Even ticked off and with his breathing uneven from the unsuccessful attempts at helping, Rick couldn't help but smile also after the question.-"They should let you out more. You lack crucial knowledge about the enemy." The alien obviously didn't find Rick's joke very humorous and gave him another long glare.-"Why AM i here?" Rick truly hoped they hadn't called him out to such a place just so he could have a chat with an old friend. He sat down on the edge of the truck deciding to rest and wait for his body to reform before attempting anything else. He made himself as comfortable as was possible on the dirty cold surface.-"I've been given sector N16 to purge but it turns out there's much more of the resistance gathered here than we expected. I don't have enough men to handle them all so i requested help from 15 and 14. They instructed a few dozen of their own to meet with us today, you're just the last to show up so you missed the others." The aliens expression made it clear that it wasn't very happy with Rick's lack of punctuality. "I was planing to make you help empty these as punishment but you're too late even for that." It gestured towards the creatures who were finishing the task of tossing the contents of the trucks into the fire and climbing onto the vehicles, preparing to leave. "Come on Rick. Everyones been informed about the specifics of the job back at headquarters by now. I'll tell you about it while we drive there." It also headed towards the front of the truck, to the drivers seat. It's large structure quickly assembled into a much smaller configuration which resembled a skeleton more than a human being. The ghostly tone of it's skin gradually changed to an extremely darker one and the stream of white hair that had reached to half way down it's back before the rearrangement of its body also changed color to an intense black. The entire transformation took only a few seconds.

@zx-metalmonster @rushingwater @starly @spiritkoi @cutebirdy79@jupiter_hollow ((I hope this intro works for you.))Brilha took a quick glance at his wrist where the polished watch stood out against his caramel skin. His light steps occurred in quick succession as the doctor moved briskly down the empty hall. He had been busy attending a unit that had just returned and had been roughed up from their excursion. It wasn't terribly serious, in his mostly professional opinion, but the Resistance was perpetually short on anyone with basic medical skills, let alone more advanced knowledge. Brilha had never slept much, anyway. Now, however, the doctor had been paged from one of the sub-ground floors where certain genetic experiments were held. Brilha himself was not fond of them at all. He didn't get a say in the matter, however, since he was a doctor, and not one of the scientists managing genetic projects. The doctor was not happy about it, regardless.Brilha turned sharply when he approached the door he was looking for. He though the Resistance managed their resources rather ineffectively by making him scan a stupid card to get into everything down here. Scan to take the elevator. Scan for authorization to be on the basement floors. Scan to get into the hallway, as well as a face scan and a finger print scan at the seemingly impregnable doors here. Scan to open the bloody door to the room. Perhaps more medical supplies would be more helpful. If the enemy were in the building, they were probably all screwed anyway. The room Brilha had just scanned the stupid card to get into was well-lit with awful fluorescent lights. All around the room were computers, hooked up to various monitors, all using their software to give the various educated minds present information on their project. In the center, with space to navigate around it for visible observations, was a large rounded chamber filled with thick fluid and containing the project X-011.The doctor was involved strictly because most of the scientists here did not have the practical knowledge to diagnose any issues that arose with the project, which Brilha had started calling Exelle, and the others followed suit. Despite the fact that he wasn't happy the project existed, Brilha felt it was his responsibility to be the one to try acting in Exelle's best interest. He was alive, after all.The scientists were currently very focused and there was a buzz in the room. Fingers punched keys and tapped screens. Many voices at once created an busy and excited atmosphere."You paged me." Brilha stated more at the geneticist spearheading the project than to her."Ah. Yes. It's time."
