Simple Question About Stats

I have no idea if this is asked a million times or not, or if this is a dumb question, but I can't seem to find it answered anywhere. Just what is the difference between clicks and views? I know that clicking goes up every time you click on a creature, and that whenever I go through my cove, every creature gains one click, but what exactly are views, then? I had at first assumed that would give me a 'view', but how do views get so much higher than clicks?

I just really have no idea the difference.

You can gain a view without clickimg the critter; for example, critters can gain views justby someoneone looking at your profile without clicking
