You feel the chill in the air? It's always chilly around this forest, Ben's Wood is it's real name, but everyone call's it DeathOak's. Yep, its that forest over there with all the black tree's. I know its night now, but did you know even in bright light, DeathOak's is still dark and shadowy? It's true. Wait, your telling me you have never heard of the story of DeathOak's. Well, no one know's when it started, but anyone who went into the wood's has never some out, except one person 20years ago. But when they got out they were insane. Kept babbling about some green cat eye's of doom, something like that. It's said many monster's live in those woods...

*Rules*
Please keep everything Eggcave appropriate.
You can't escape, there is not real exit once you enter the woods, the one person who got out the monster's let go, to see what would happen.
You may die, someone else may kill you characters.
If you are inactive for 2 weeks, your character's well be killed by monster's and you well stop being pinged, but you are free to sign up with new characters after.
You may have weapon's, but no gun's or bombs.
You can't "magically" live a monster's venom.

Frogs lizards

*Note*
ALL berries are filled with poison
Do not eat squirrel's, or you well have an awful stomach ache for 3 days.
Red berries venom can be cured by eating frog's liver.
Venom from blue berries has no cure, well kill you in 5 min's.
Yellow berries venom is possible for you to live from, but unlikely.
Eat the black berries and you drown from inside.
The whet berries burn you from inside.
Purple berries drive you insane for about a week before dyeing.
Orange and gray make you cough for about 3 days before you die, can be cured by rabbit droppings.
Pink berries: make's you have a lack of air, possible to live.
Green: make you smell horrid and have a belly ache for the day, does not kill.

Personality: can be rude and stubborn but is kind and loyal.
History: born with a brother, Fox, and sisters, Moth and Red. There father, Bear, killed there mother Grace and toke the kids to live with him and his gang. The kids were mistreated and with the help of a woman Moth Red and Wasp escaped while Fox choice to stay. Moth died not long after of sickness. Red and Wasp were taken in by a foster woman named Moss. Much later Wasp learned Fox really killed Moth, and in rage he killed Fox. Red later died in a car crash and Moss of old age.
Looks: tan skin with dark brown eyes and brown hair. Tall. He wear's a black hoodie, under it is a black tank top. Blue jeans.
How and when were you trapped in DeathOak's: Was dared to go in by a group of kids. 2014 Oct 21.

"I'm not scarred of any stupid woods." I snapped at the small cubby kid. I could not believe a group of 4th grader's where daring me to go into DeathOak's. I walked into the dark foggy oaks. I knew this was a bad idea, and I almost felt like turning and running back. I kept getting scarred at my own footstep's, so I stopped walking. Then I heard heavy paw step's behind me, and a deep growl. I froze, then without looking back, ran.

Personality: Recluse, she's careful around others.
History: She was a born into the forest and stalks the land.
Looks: A tan girl with rippling snake scales covering random patches of her body. She has fangs instead of teeth and ice-blue eyes.
Power\Venom: Her teeth have viper venom in them.
Cure's to Venom: A pink bird's feathers.
Family: Unknown

Name: Allison "Alyss" Ravenhallow
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Personality: She's anti-social and it's hard for her to make friends or to even talk to anyone really. She's quiet and reserved, but under that, granted anyone can break her outer shell, she can be a crazy and dark minded person.
History: She was raised by her cousin-Mary-until the age of 18, her parents died just after she was born and her cousin was her closest kin.
Mary hated her but took her in regardless. Alyss soon got fed up with the being left behind, or never getting to go anywhere but to school so when she turned 18 she left Mary's house and found her way to the forest.
Looks: 6' 4 with Caucasian skin, dirty blond hair raggedly cut to the middle of her neck, and blue-gray eyes that con't decide which shade to be.
Her skin is crossed with scars, sunburns, and freckles. Her nails are bitten down to the beds.
She wears a black tank top with blue slacks and black beat up tennis shoes. After her time in the forest she carries around a short stick with a curved sharp rock tied to it with a vine.
How and when was you character trapped in the forest: She wandered into the forest looking for refuge when she was 18 tired of her cousins brutal treatment towards her.
She tried to find her way out of the forest, only once before she decided it was a better life.
Weakness: She's claustrophobic, entomophobic, and enochlophobic.
Family: Her cousin Mary. Current status unknown.

Alyss slapped the wrist off of her own, glaring down into Mary's deep brown eyes.
"I hate you." She growled, pulling away from her cousin.
Allison whirled around taking off to the nearest direction she could head. To the forest.
She charged through the undergrowth, Mary's voice echoing behind her warning her of the dangers there. But she didn't care. All she wanted was to be away from that horrid woman.
She stopped when everything turned dark around her. /How strange.\ Alyss thought as she took in her surroundings.
Twigs broke behind her and she spun around.

@emilianagerson Sounds really interesting! One question, how do the people end up in the forest, is it like a group of people going to be brave, or do they just wake up there?

Name: Fiero
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Personality: He doesn't talk much, naturally hates people.
History: He was born in the forest and has been prowling the land, getting rid of all humans who dare venture into the woods ever since.
Looks: He's around 6'2 and has black hair that's so long it covers his eyes. His skin is ghostly pale and if you do see his eyes, they are a creepy icy blue. He usually wears either all white, or all black.
Power/Venom: He usually injects his venom while one is sleeping. It makes you extremely tired and sluggish. One will die after about 4 days.
Cure to venom: Rabbit bones.
Family: None.
Crush: None

Name: Jubilee Faith Lerotto
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Personality: She's hostile in a way, and doesn't really like people. She has a bad temper and gets annoyed easily. She's very much a loner and spends most of her time just thinking about lovely it would be to be truly alone. She does have the ability to make friends, it's just very hard to get past her 'people shield.' She is a troublemaker and is very reckless and stubborn. She stands by what she believes and almost no one can change her mind.
History: She grew up in a quiet neighbourhood with her brother and parents. Her parents always loved Gage because he was the better behaved kid and always got perfect marks. Julie was always the kid who was lighting fire to abandoned warehouses, sneaking out to go to parties, and getting D's on all of her work. She's still like that, even in her twenties, because her family died in a bridge collapse on the way the San Fransisco when she was 16. Jubilee had been left at home. She still lives alone in her house, right on the edge of the woods.
Looks: She's around 5'7 and has slightly tan skin. She has slightly wavy copper-brown hair down to the middle of her back. She has freckles stretching from cheek to cheek and green eyes. She typically wears skinny jeans and a t-shirt with sneakers and a hoodie.
How and when your character was trapped in the forest: At the age of 20 she decided to get out of the city, and the woods seemed like the most sensable place to go. At first she didn't go very far, and went running and climbed trees a lot. After a while though, she got used to it. She's been exploring and venturing out farther for about two months, so she's still not very familiar with it.
Weaknesses: She's afraid of spiders, bees, and basically any creepy bug.
Family: Her brother Gage and her parents, all dead.
Crush: None.

RP sample:

I sat in my house, looking out longingly to the woods. "That's it, I'm doing it." I decided out loud. I packed a small backpack with two water bottles and an orange. I slipped into my white running shoes and my purple hoodie and walked outside.

The woods were dark, even at noon. I could see fairly well though. I liked it here. It was quiet and I was alone. Finally, alone. Really, truly alone.

I continued walked, listening to the slight rustling in the branches, watching the leaves shift on the forest floor, then something moved. I looked into the darkness and saw a pair of icy blue eyes staring at me through the shadows.

I turned on my heel and started running, scanning the trees as I ran by. Finally, I found one that looke climbable. I reached up and grasped onto two branches. I fixed my toe in a knothole, and pushed myself up. I kept repeating this, getting leverage off of knotholes and branches.

Finally, I settled down in a thin fork of two branches, and looked down at the forest floor, which was about 20 feet below me. Unless that thing knew how to climb, I was safe. I sighed and leaned my head back, wondering when I would get used to this.

First to answer your question, you pick how your person went into the woods and how long they have been there. Also, like I said in the rule's, once you go into the forest there is no way to exit, so your character jubilee can't just go in the wood's and run home when she likes. This is because when you walk into the wood's, you basically enter another world. You could take one step in, look behind you, and the world you came from would be gone, all that would be behind you was forest, as it goes on forever. Please edit your form knowing this information and ping me to notify me you have done so in another post.

Adding some monsters
Name: Dracul
Age: 2000
Gender: Male
Personality: Frey, always quick to fight or tall back.
History: born from an egg and never knew who his real mom and dad where. He has be stalking the forest since he hatched.
Looks: is about the size of a small hippo. It's a dragon type shape with red and black scale's and bright red eyes and black claws.
Power/Venom: Can't burn, when mad body cover's in fire. If the fire burn's you it is toxic and well make lots of burning pain until you die in about an hour.
Cure to venom: Put some fern's and water on the burn.
Family: Unknow
Crush: Venom
Mate: None

Age: 305
Personality: sneaky and evil. Tricky and always upbeat when doing something violent.
Gender: Female
History: she was born with her two sister's Mystic and Toxic. They were raised to kill. Mystic showed a soft side and said she did not want to live in DeathOak's, so she was killed.
Power\Venom: can teleport. Venom in claw's that make's people go insane.
Cure to Venom: if you eat a squirrel, you'll throw up a sparkling purple goo and only feel slight burning wear the scratch was.
Looks: like a huge blank panther with bright purple leopard prints and matching purple eyes
Family: Toxic
Crush: none
Mate: none

Name: Toxic
Age: 305
Personality: grumpy and streak, happy when doing something violent.
Gender: female
Looks: huge black panther with green leopard prints and matching green eyes
History: same as Venom
Power\Venom: can growl extra loud and can force someone to feel fear. Super strong. Claw's are toxic and if scratched skin around cut gets green and smells. Does not kill.
Cure to Venom: rub water and spider guts on cut.

Name: George Hudson (prefers to be called Hudson)

Age: 67

Gender: Male

Personality: Inquisitive and clever, he has lost touch with humanity though. Prone to fits, discussions with himself and other strange behavior, he is "slightly" crazy.

History: Hudson entered the forest many years ago with friends and has adjusted since to this life. He used to be able to defend himself pretty well at first but as he got older, he it got harder. He has established a small shack for himself in the woods and only goes out now to hunt. He was scratched a couple years ago by Venom while hunting and although he managed to survive he has "lost some of his marbles".

Looks: Strong figure, limps a little of his left leg though. He has wispy, silver hair with a few dark strands in it. He is generally filthy and his clothes are tattered. He dons a pair of thick glasses with only one lens. There is a large scar down his left leg from Venom.

How and when was you character trapped in the forest: Has been trapped in the forest since he was approximately 25. He went in with some friends for a camping trip but couldn't leave. His friends quickly succumbed to the many poisons the woods had to offer. Hudson learned a little more from each of their deaths.

Weakness: He has a lot of knowledge but he is often too confused and distracted to use it.

RP sample: The smell of cooking meat filled the shack. Hudson twisted his exposed toes near the twinkling flames, relishing the heat. Leaning forward he turned the spit, causing the dead rabbit's ears to flop in the other direction. I sputter of laughter erupted from his throat. Jovially, he turned the spit again and again, chuckling every time.

"Floop!" Hudson cried out happily as the ears once again flopped. This only increased the entertainment of it all. Hudson continued this "game" for several more minutes.

The rabbit, now crisp and black was turned once more and the burnt ear snapped clean off the creature. Hudson blinked in disbelief then tumbled over, shaking with uncontrollable laughter.

Name: Richard Roman
Age: Unknown
Gender: Believed to be male.
Personality: Cunning, vicious, malevolent.
History: Roman wasn't really born as much as he just appeared in the forest one day. He had a much larger group with him, but they all went their separate ways and all but one ended up dying.
Looks: He took the form of a business owner who found his way into the forest 20 years ago. Black suit with a red tie, tan skin, brown eyes and businesslike brown hair.
Power\Venom: He can take the form of someone granted he has their DNA, and their dead. He can inject them with a slowly killing toxin, and then proceeds to pop his head back like a bottle and eat them.
Cure's to Venom: If you are injected with the toxin you can easily cure it by eating bear claws ground up and mixed with water.
Family: All dead.
Crush: None
Mate: None

Name: Sari
Age: Unknown
Gender: Indecisive
Personality: Cunning, gentle, secretive.
History: Sari was born into the forest and promptly abandoned. It survived only because of it's unique growth rate.
Looks: A rather long cobra-like creature with a ruff of jet-black feathers on it's hood and dark wings. Bright red eyes.
Power\Venom: Snake poison and a knack to hypnotize things that look at it directly in the eye.
Cure's to Venom: None, the poison doesn't kill you unless multiple wounds are inflicted.

Name: Lynna Callaway

Personality: Lyn is shy, secretive, loves nature, animals, and can make a good shelter out of anything. However, she doesn't like to be around others and would rather be alone.
History: She grew up normal, but never really had any friends and she was a loner her whole life. Lyn hated her family and pretty much everyone else she knew, and she hated her life.
Looks: Dark brown long hair, blue eyes. Wears a red shirt, heavy gray winter coat, blue jeans, and boots.
How and when was you character trapped in the forest: The day she graduated from school her mother said that if she didn't leave the house and go somewhere in her life that she might as well go into the forest, and Lyn got mad and ran into the forest.
Weakness: She hates being with other people, and is incredibly scared of the monsters and usually she has nightmares of how she will die every time she closes her eyes. Can't ran very fast.
Family: Her parents and a brother, who are still at home

RP sample: Lynna slammed the back door, the woods in her view as she jumped of the porch. "Lynna! Come back!" she could hear her mother's faint cries from her house, but she wasn't going back now. Her family had finally gotten what they had wanted - for her to be gone once and for all. Lyn ran as hard as she could, pain shooting through her legs when she realized that she hated to run, and soon she would be out of breath. She didn't care, though. That wouldn't matter when she reached the woods, she wouldn't have to worry about her old life once she embraced the never ending darkness of the woods.

Age: 200
Gender: Female
Personality: Sinister, tricky, and devilish. She loves to torture humans.
History: She was abandoned by her powerful parents, and left in the woods to die. Satura was cared for by a old woman who had put up a medicine shop in the woods. After killing her guardian out of pure spite, she left her home to live in the woods.
Looks: Satura has dark brown skin, sharp, pearly white fangs, is of slim, athletic, build, and has velvety fox ears and tail. Her eyes are amber, with flecks of gold, and she has short, curly, reddish-orangish hair.
Power\Venom: She has fire power, and her venom makes your skin froth, and bruise painfully. The result of her venom if not treated, is death.
Cure's to Venom: A pink bird`s eyes.
Family: She never found the family that had abandoned her.
Crush: Not yet.....
Mate: Not yet.....

I raced through the forest, relishing the sensation of the wind in my hair and tail.

Satura stopped behind a rock as she noticed a human standing in the forest. /Wow, I haven`t seen one of those in years!/ she thought excitedly. She grinned. /This will be fun!/

Satura shot a bolt of fire right at the human`s head.
