DeathOak's is forest filled with monster's and is always at least a bit dim. Great evil lurks behind every tree and under every stone. Good luck staying alive.

It's about noon, light is dim.

*Wasp Garson*
Quietly, I grabbed a rock out of my hoodie and ran my finger's lightly over the sharp edges. My eyes locked on a green and yellow bird on a tree branch. On the ground I grabbed a smooth pebble and threw it at the bright-feathered bird. With a cry of alarm, the bird rose and started to fly off. Quickly with my arm I aimed and threw the sharp rock to the birds wing. The rock hit the bird, breaking the wing. The bird ungracefully fell. Quickly I rushed over, seeing the eyes of the bird filled with pain, I snapped it's neck quick to end it's suffering. I grabbed the bird and put it in a big sack I had made out of a wolf skin. I there I already had three frog's, a rabbit, and a squirrel. The squirrel was only if I eat something that I needed to throw up. Letting go of the bird letting it fall in the sack, I decided to head back to my small camp.

*Venom*
Slowly I woke up, soothed by the calm song of birds. I was laying on a very high branch of one of the tallest oak's in the forest. Next to me my sister Toxic was still sleeping. /Better not wake her, or she'll get grumpy./ I thought to myself, but my paws itched to do something. Below me, I spotted a human, I knew this one, Wasp. Me and Toxic knew it was forbid, but we had sort of befriended him. He had fed us when we were starving and gave us shelter from a huge rainstorm. Just did random act's of kindness whenever we needed help. I nudged Toxic, "Toxic, hey wake up." I said. Toxic glared up at me. "What." she asked in a shallow growl. "Wasp is here." I answered, "Wanna say hi?" Toxic rolled her eyes, "You know me, I'm not going to attack him, but I won't be his best monster friend either. You go see him if you like." with that Toxic closed her eye's. I sighed and started to stalk Wasp, I planned to pounce and give him a fright. Oh how I loved seeing pure fear in someone's eyes...

Allison jerked her head up at the wound of a birds distressed cry. /Another monster? Or someone else?\ She thought picking at her satchel she wove out of leaves.
Her satchel contained smaller pouches of various feathers, rocks, food, and various cures to the venoms found in the forest.
She hitched her weapon over her shoulder, the base held firmly in her hand as she followed the sound, her eyes scanning around her for monsters. For all her anti-social tendencies sometimes she needed to see someone who wasn't ready to kill her.
Winding around a tree she managed to see two creatures in the trees above her, and in the clearing a man. Maybe about her age, somewhat taller than the average man. The monsters didn't seem aggressive at the moment. So Alyss pressed up against the tree, weighing her chances. She could talk to the man, and see what the creatures were up to, or she could attack them.
/Best to not risk it.\ She decided and stowing her weapon in her satchel she slid around the tree.

*Venom*
Light pawed I stalked Wasp, then, pounced, knocking him over with great strength. I heard him let out a scream of surprise. "Got ya!" I exclaimed proudly and smugly. Me and my sister could both speak human. Wasp rolled his eye's, "yea yea you got me." He grumbled, "Let me up kitty." I took my paw's off him but growled smiling, "don't call me kitty. You know I hate it."

*Wasp Gerson*
"Yea, and what are you going to do about it, Kitty?" I teased. Venom grinned. "I could always go get my sister..." she started. "No! Please have mercy." I cried in mock alarm. "anyone but that grumpy cat." I reach into my sack and brought out a rabbit, tossing it to Venom I said, "Share this with your sister." Venom nodded, eye's bright."Thanks Wasp, I'm sure Toxic well love this fat juicey gift!"

Alyss stared as the boy gave the two cats a rabbit, talking to them. /Well I guess not all creatures can want to eat you.\ She thought still studying the scene.

Sari spread its wings and took to the forest canopy as they looked for their next victim. Absolutely nothing showed up for them though, and soon they were landing wings folding up as Sari slithered along hte floor.

{Jubilee}

I sat in my tree, which was now equipped with sort of a mat, made out of twigs, moss, leaves, and vines, tied down to a fork with a vine. I sat comfortable on the mat, which now served as a bed, plucking the pink feathers off of a bird. I had basically been living on these birds for the last few months, because they always came near my tree. I climbed down from the tree and walked for about five minutes. I then came to a firepit which I had made, and attempted to start a fire. I did after about ten minutes, and left the bird sitting on a rack made of sticks to cook.

As it was cooking, I heard a bird cry. I wondered if it was a monster, or anothe human. 'Another monster probably.' I thought. I'd been hoping to encounter humans, but it seemed so unlikely. The forest went on forever, and it was highly unlikely that after all the stories about the woods, no one would venture into them. I sighed and watched the smoke rising up from the cooking meat.

{Fiero}

I watched from the shadows as Venom pounced on a human boy, who gave her a rabbit. I groaned slightly, and hoped it wasn't loud enough for them to hear.

{Venom}
Suddenly, I heard a noise. I shoved the rabbit away, so I could scent to see if someone was there. A scent hit my noise right away now that I could smell something other then rabbit, "I smell... human.. and.. monster!" I added the last bit in alarm. Forgetting the rabbit, I charged where the human scent was strong, behind a tree. My eye's gleamed when they found a person. A female. I opened my mouth, showing off sharp pointed teeth, tipped with a purple color. I giggled. "Come on, let's play tag. You've got a three second head start, run." I Whispered the last word deathly.

{Wasp Gerson}
Another monster! In a flash, I left the rabbit where it was, knowing Venom would go back to get it later. Right now she was charging after a human. Everything inside me screamed to help the human, but when I had befriended the monster's, they promised not to stop me from killing monster's if I did not stop them from killing people. I sighed, I always hated to be reminded that even though they were my friends, they were still monsters, and would always be monsters. I ran as fast as I could, heading for my camp.

{Espiritu}
As my fog wondered the forest, I saw a young tall boy running, fast. /He must have heard one of the monster's of my forest./ I thought calmly to myself. / I wonder how bad he wants to get away? What would he do with a broken ankle?/ With that thought, using my eye's and thoughts I made a root come out of the ground where he was running. I watched as the boy tripped, ankle twisting around. /What now boy?/

I watched in silence as the boy ran away, and Venom took off after… I sniffed the air. A human. I watched after the boy as he tripped on a root that suddenly appeared. Espiritu probably. I smirked and headed to watch Venom's attack on the human.

{Jubilee}

My mouth dropped in horror as a cat appeared in front of me, and told me to run. I dropped everything, and took off like lightning.

I tried to think, what do cats hate? 'Water.' I thought. I knew where a small marsh was. It was disgusting, and muddy. She owuldn't go in. I turned and headed in the direction of the marsh.

When I got there, I jumped right in, proceding to cover myself in mud and moss, hoping to camoflauge myself. I listened quietly for the tiny pawsteps that should be following me.

{Venom}
I counted as the girl ran, "One, two, three." I launched after her, in a fit of mad laughter I growled, "Ready or not, here I come!" Now I was just chasing her my insane laughs filling the air. Then the human jumped in marsh. I sneered. Maybe I could never go in real water, but this was only marsh. Mud was fine. I decided to have some fun. "You've won this time, human!" I growled, running into the tree's. As soon as I was hidden, I smiled, and closed my eye's and teleported into the marsh, I shoved my nose an inch away from the person's. "Oh, why hello there, miss me?" I mocked.

Alyss watched as the man ran off, the cats following a different girl.
Pulling her weapon from her bag she followed the man deeper into the woods before he fell over a tree root and saw his ankle twist the other way around.
"What do you think you're trying to accomplish?" She demanded walking up to him and dropping an arm to help him up.

Sari twisted up a tree its eyes watching around it. Swiftly the beast fluttered onto another tree branch looking out for their next victim.

Hudson raised his face to the sky enjoying the small amount of sunshine that filtered through the thick canopy. "I must be nearly midday" he figured out loud. Suddenly a strange tune filled his head, the melody of a song years ago. He began to hum happily.

After applying another coat of purple berry juice to the traps surrounding his hut, Hudson retreated back indoors. Sitting cross-legged on the floor, he began to butcher the frogs that he had caught earlier that morning in the marsh. His humming erupted into words.

"Everybody say I'm lazy
They all tell me get a job you slob,
I'd rather be a hobo walking round with nothing
Than a rich man scared of losing all he's got.

So I'm just sitting in the midday sun
Just soaking up that currant bun,
Why should I have to give my reasons
For sitting in the midday sun"

Abandoning the knife, Hudson jumped to his feet for the last note, holding the dead frog to his face like a microphone. Then collapsed back to the floor in a fit of laughter. He retrieved the knife from where if had fallen and continued about his work.

"Well, I was trying to get to my camp before I tripped on this root." I grabbed the girl's offered hand to help me up. "Thank you, my name's Wasp by the way."

{Toxic}
Slowly, I started to wake up, noticing Venom still had not come back. I growled to myself, "So now I got to drag your stupid pelt away from the human." I leaped of the tree, but found in the clearing there was nothing but a rabbit, and it reeked of Wasp and Venom. /He must have gave this to Venom, but where did they go?/ Then I remembered that if a monster found out, they would have every right to kill Venom. /If anyone layed a single claw on her, I'll kill them!/ I used my power to send out and extra large growl, to threaten anyone who hurt Venom, and to let Venom know I was awake and looking for her. I saw something move in the bushed, I rushed to it. I found Wasp and some other girl, and in the sky, out of sight from the human's, Espiritu. /I have to act like I hate him./ I thought, them all I that she was not reading Wasp's mind. Just in thought were hateful things about human, in chase Espiritu was reading my mind. I prayed case, I used my power to force Wasp to feel fear. I growled in a deathly voice, "Were did Venom go?" Wasp's eye's where huge with fright. He pointed with his finger, "T-that way, after a human." He stuttered. Without looking back, I rushed to where he was pointing.

Alyss nodded, glancing over as Wasp directed one of hte creatures away after another.
"Why help them?" She asked curiously. She didn't really have anything against the denizens of the forest, just curious.
