Ads you can't dismiss/close getting in the way

This has been something I've just tried to ignore until now. After 43 attempts today (yeah...seriously) I finally found a centark and got excited, but a tesco ad popped up in my face for what has to be the 60th time today just as the name egg box was loading and the only option with the ad was 'ok' (no cross/cancel) so you can't close it. So I ended up having to be to the redirected to the ad site and the centark Egg I was praying would be in the abandonded list was not there and it said my steal attempt had been used -.-

...in the time I typed that the egg appeared (even though I'd refreshed a load of times without it appearing) underneath and now says I was too slow even though it hasn't been more than about a minute. Ergh!

I'm sorry to hear about what abbened. :c
You should install a browser extension like AdBlock to get rid of ads and pop-ups. It should help you with that problem. 😊

@wereage The thing is, they've never been a problem before now, I just came on here a few days ago on my phone and bam! Three ads per page so big they move the forum, cave (whatever page I'm on) below the background image (Where it says 'your account' starts in the pure blue part) plus these pop ups.

I am finding an ad block now so I don't spend from 5am 'til near on 10pm tomorrow doing the same thing again.

The cave better nice and give me tomorrow's creature before I go to school -.- Or y'know, realise supermarket vouchers aren't my thing XD

When I'm on my Ipad, the adblock didn't work at all for me. If you have the same problem, I recommend a browser called Apollo from the app store. It has a built in ad block that's great for mobile devices.

@element Thanks so much for telling me about this browser! It's a lot faster and easier for me to just wander mindlessly on XD (As if phone browsers could be simplified any more though). The adblock was kind of working, by that I mean only banners were left but whether the 'giant' ones would return in time I couldn't tell.

You're welcome! Glad I could help! The only time ads pop back up for me is when I'm updating a creature's profile or randomly when something doesn't load properly. Hopefully it will solve your ad problems though 😉
