Hello everyone! 😃 Is there a website or a post where I could check how much the creatures are worth? 😊 thanks
newlife • 22 January 2015 at 8:13 PM
@alphayjuliets At this time, no. I recommend just asking players around for what creatures they think are valued at what price. It depends from person to person. ^^

@newlife Hmmm I see :S Correct me if I'm wrong 😊 so it's pretty much just by experience on how much everything is worth right?
newlife • 22 January 2015 at 8:17 PM
@alphayjuliets Yes, that's pretty much it.

@newlife ahhh okay... new stuff to learn 😊 Thank you 😃 Sorry for asking questions again lol :S but does the stage and gender of the egg matter? if yes, then why and how? 😃 Thanks!

@alphayjuliets There used to be a creature guide that a user made which people referred to, though it is outdated. I do go to it to look up the worth of creatures sometimes in it however, even though it hasn't been updated in a long time, it has helped me a lot. http://eggcave.com/forums/topic/42588Currently, I generally go by a creatures worth in relation to how rare they are or how popular (since some rare creatures aren't always as popular too). So it makes it simpler to trade a creature with another creature that are of the same rarity. When it comes to worth in CC and EC, it can be tricky figuring out prices and worth of creatures, since everyone does it differently and I can be bad about figuring out the worth of things. I think that newer CC creatures that are bought in the CC store for 200CC-500CC can go anywhere from 4,000,000 EC to 6,000,000 EC (if someone is trading one for ec). The older they get however, the more EC or CC they are worth, so they become worth a lot more as they retire and time goes by.

@alphayjuliets >Sorry for asking questions again lol :S but does the stage and gender of the egg matter? if yes, then why and how? Thanks!Gender, not so much. It's just a preference by some users. Some people will be willing to offer slightly more for a specific gender, but as a whole it doesn't really matter.Stages are a different thing. Usually, the lower the stage (egg, first stage, etc.) go for more than the second and last stages. Some users like to just let their creatures grow and evolve, though. So, again, it kinda comes down to user preference.

@aedia 😊 Thanks for answering my question! I actually tried to google this and saw the exact same guide but because I saw the comments that it's outdated so I ignored it. As to rarity of creatures, I haven't seen all of the rare or non rare creatures so I guess that needs time. It's good to know that I can refer to something for now😃 @despair Thanks for answering my question! I was wondering why but good to know it's just preference. 😃 Thank you everyone for your patience. I really appreciated it. 😸

@alphayjuliets This lists the rarities of all the creatures. Remember that this is based on "population" count alone and not on actual values like the EPF estimates: http://eggcave.com/archives/raritiesFor values and/or popularity vs. rarity, refer to the EPF estimates to help determine which older creatures are more valuable than others. It's just to give you a general idea, but it does help a little.

@alphayjulietsStages, I think, can be tricky. When a creature first comes out, the higher, older stages are more valuable because not everyone has it. But, as the species gets older, the younger stages become more valuable because less people have those. And a general rule for freezing: freezing a creature automatically adds 200CC to the creature's value. BUT if the creature is frozen in its last stage, that doesn't add any value. Freezing commons (creatures still in the cave) will add little to no value to them because they're still available and attainable at the cave.I also use the EPF guide, but I add to the values of the creatures because the last time that guide was updated was March 2014. So after I check out the popularity of the creature (population # is usually a good indicator), I tack on how much value I think the creature has gained. Nothing drastic. It's usually about 200-500CC.Another good thing to know is how CC is calculated against EC. Now, 1 CC = 10,000 EC. Which means, 500CC is worth about 5,000,000 EC, and so on and so forth. But since EC isn't exactly as valuable as CC, what you would have to pay 5milEC for, you might have to one up it and pay 6mil. Equation to calculate it:CC x 10,000 EC = CC converted to ECSo 500 CC x 10,000 EC = 5,000,000 ECI hope I helped and didn't confuse you XD It took me a really long time to understand values, and even now, I suck at them.

@element Thank you for all the tips 😃 The rarity guide is handy! @lilkeykey14 XDD Naw it's all good. I guess with all the info you just gave me and if anything I should really ask around to double check with what I have in mind should be all right! Thank you 😃 Thank you to everyone who answered me 😃 It helped me out a lot!
