This is a really, really bothersome ad. And I'm sure I'm not the only one that has experienced it.

The Xfinity ad keeps pushing all my text below it (I will post a picture in a few minutes) and it has bothered me a lot.

I usually use my iPad to access Eggcave, but nearly every page I go to has the ad on it.
I use my laptop sometimes too, and the ad gets through Adblock and messes my entire page up.

It's the only ad to ever do this to me, and I am getting really sick of it after awhile.
I was curious if anyone else was experiencing this, or was it just me? Because it happens on multiple devices (including my new phone actually)

Actually no, it happened to me too! A few of them do it. But if you install AdBlock, it helps a lot! ^ ^

@newlife Yup, I have experienced it on all my devices except my laptop thanks to adblock. It wasn't just that ad though, there were other ones with the same affect on the page.

I do have to agree that only way around this is through some kind of adblock, though I didn't want to use one for a long time though since it helps pay to run the site.

@dv55555
iPads can't get Adblock due to how Apple programs them u-u

@whereiscupcake
Oh, I never noticed that other ads did it. But it's still rather annoying.
I wish I could install an Adblock on my iPad, but I can't.
Also, the site has way too many ads, as I once turned off Adblock by accident and I lagged extremely badly.

@newlife I normally get it with online games and insurance banners- I can't say I've seen the specific one this topic mentions, at least not from what I remember.

Have you tried using another browser? A few days ago on my iPhone another use suggested 'Apollo' and ads haven't been an issue since they are blocked by the browser.

@whereiscupcake
Must vary from person to person then.

I rather like Safari, plus, I want to keep ads on so that Eggcave can get some money, even though a lot of people buy CC. I just want banners like these gone xP

@newlife Fair enough 😋

I suppose it is a bit funny how a web page goes 'Right, I have a vertical banner...better place it in the horizontal space up there.'

@whereiscupcake

Web page so smart wow.
Even if the banner is vertical and is put into a vertical space, it still seems to love to mess up the page o.o
