@maiden Or it might be that you have an advertising software or extension installed on either your browser or laptop, which usually enables loads of advertisements to display while browsing the internet. Does ads display on any other websites when you're using your Raspberry Pi?
maiden • 23 March 2015 at 11:49 AM
@fakeworld No but the ads appeared when using my xbox, my tablet, and my chromebook
fakeworld • 23 March 2015 at 11:58 AM
@maiden You might have some type of ad-blocker enabled on your Raspberry Pi, maybe. The Xfinity ad is displaying for me right now actually. It seems to be stretching a bit, I'm about to send the link of it to @jazzyleia

@maiden I'm on Safari. The ad was stretching a little, but I wasn't having the problem you was having, so it was completely fine for me. Check your Google Chrome extensions to see if one of them might be causing the problem.1. Navigate to your extensions (Chrome Menu Button > Settings > Extensions)2. Disable (uncheck) every extension that you have installed. 3. Now, one by one, re-enable each extension, checking each time you re-enable one extension to see if the issue still occurs with that particular extension.
