RP board

Ok. I didn't know where to put this cause it's an observation/complaint. I'm not trying to be mean but does anyone else notice that in the role play forums no one gives a detailed story, it's just "hey I wanna RP so I'm gonna use the most general story plot I can." I would like to practice RPing in the forums and not just one on one. It seems though I can't because no one is giving me anything to work with. I want to be able to make a character and put them in a verse where they will fit. I'm just gonna reiterate please don't take it personally it's just something I noticed.
