Hi there's this creature called Promise on the click exchange that I've probably clicked about six times already and it keeps reappearing after a few refreshes. This has been happening for a couple of days. Im not sure if its just my phone (SUPER slow) or an actual glitch. Has this happened to anyone else?

If you are clicking from your phone, that means you're clicking from multiple different IP address, meaning that everytime you visit the click exchange from your phone, you're visiting from a new IP address, and everything in the click exchange "resets".

The click exchange works based on IP addresses, so, since your phone does not have a single IP address, everytime you visit the click exchange, all the creatures you've already clicked, will show up again if the user still has their creature in the exchange.

It's probably best if you don't visit the click exchange from your phone and only your computer, because you can get banned from the click exchange if you visit from too many different IPs.

Yikes, why wasn't this mentioned on the "how it works" section"? ☹️

It kind of is.
At the very bottom it tells you not to visit from multiple IPs/don't use Proxies.
Since a phone doesn't have a single IP, it's kind of like using a proxy.

You can still visit the exchange once a day from your phone, but I wouldn't do it more than once a day. If you did get in trouble from using the exchange multiple times a day from your phone, you can explain to the staff that you were using your phone.
I don't know what the rules are on using your phone for the click exchange, since there are no written rules on it.

You could send in a ticket asking about it or ping a staff member here to ask them.

The Click Exchange tracks clicks by IP addresses and not your physical Egg Cave account. Because cell phones do not have static IP addresses when connecting via cell, this means that you may see the same creature twice and be able to contribute more than one click or feed to their stats.

This is how things work at Egg Cave. This not illegal, nor will you be penalized for using a cell phone to connect to Egg Cave. It takes explicit and deliberate abuse of the Click Exchange to be temporarily suspended.

Thanks for bringing this up! Everything is working as it should.
