notifications

I am not seeming to get notifications. I have to go look instead of them poping up. Is this a glitch?

Current time approx 8:11

cuteyowling posted to my wall at 8:07 (approx) I did not get a notification. As a pop up or on my notifications board. (I did have notifications of people posting on my wall from yesterday)

I did however get a ping from a user that was posted to my notifications board.
