Ads links on buttons

I was visiting the Tim's Food Shoppe.
And after the bug fix of the 'toggle all' button, they made a new button.

This new button has those green link ads in it. So if I click the button, it goes to a new page with ads etc.

Its very annoying when I want to click a button or link here in Eggcave to go somewhere else in eggcave, that is has a green ad link in it so I go to the ads page instead of the eggcave page where I wanted to go.

Please fix ❤️

It opens a new page when I refresh. ;-; Like, I don't have to click anything at all.

Are you refering to those InfoLink ads that appear as green text on pages? Has the happened multiple times and is it always the same ad or different ads? Otherwise, please give post a link of the ad (if it is one all the time).

WoT and No script blocked it, thankfully but the WoT warning said Phishing, malaware and other bad things.

Okay. I'll get looking into this and get Ian also involved. Thank you for letting us know what is happening!

Edit: Does it automatically open for you? (i mean does it want to automatically open) or are you clicking something to make it come up? Also is it more on certain pages or just everywhere as you haven't gotten it in the same place.

@jazzyleia It only opens if I click on something. Like I was buying a travel and it automatically opened.

Yes, those InfoLinks. It appeared on the "select all" creatures button in Tim's Food Shoppe. It happened once so far, but I'll let you know when it happens again! 😊

Thanks! I know a lot of users can't get the InfoLink ads to go away anymore. Ian has been notified and hopefully it will be fixed soon. 😃

Hi! This shouldn't have occurred at all and I'm really sorry about this.

The physical "Select All" text has been replaced with a web button, which means that InfoLinks can no longer highlight this element and serve ads to it.

We will double-check all other types of actions that you can complete around the site and ensure that InfoLinks can't tag an ad on to it when you're completing a valid site action.
