Best way to donate creatures

So I foster and adopt out creatures to newish users as part of #laep2 and I was wondering if you can send a creature directly to a user or if setting up a trade then getting them to send a cave egg they don't want is the most effective way of doing it?

At the current moment there is no other way to give a creature to a specific user other than trading. It is the most effective way right now to assure that the user you want to get the creature actually gets the creature. You can always put the cave egg from the trade in the adoption center (for a fee) or in the auctions to get rid of it faster.
