Username Change

So since many users eventually change their username after a while, I was thinking that instead of all the creatures being traded to a new cove, we could pay a small amount of CC (Perhaps 50CC) in order to change our username to another one not taken. This would prevent everyone from changing their username freely if it was free and would allow only people who were serious about it to pay a small price in CC 😊

Its would be a bit confusing, and I really think it should be a larger price than 50 CC

What's confusing about it? 😱 And at the moment, users are allowed to create new accounts as they wish for free, the only problem is transferring all the creatures to the new account, which piles up in the TC and takes a longer time. So putting a price on it would make sure that people wouldn't just randomly change their usernames.

But users change their usernames right now anyways, its just that they have to spend more work/time 😋

You could always put your old username on your profile/status? That's what people do on other sites.

Anyway, I like this idea. I really want to change my side account allele to a username I love.

I support the idea of being able to change your username. I do believe the price should be larger though, it's a username lol. Perhaps we could purchase something called a name change token (NCT) from the CSP?

Lol, you can probably tell I like this idea😋 This side account and my main @mlpnko159 are both complete gibberish since I didn't know what to make my user when I was first introduced to this game. Now I just don't like the names and it's hard for people to spell right >.<

Support, with stipulations. Changing a username is one of those things that should be available to everyone, not just people who can pay real money for it. Many people just don't have that option. While it would be nice to support the site monetarily to accomplish this, I think it would be highly unfair to enable it by that route only. If this is done, it should be for a small amount of CC, or a rather large amount of EC (at least one million).

I would like except I prefer no CC (EC maybe) and instead of it being a "username" change, a screenname change.

So our account name would be the same, but we can change the name that's displayed, if that makes sense. Account name can still be shown, in case anyone gets "confused."

I don't know, it's not unusual for sites to charge cash currency for name changes, so I would just keep that in mind. It WOULD be cool if it could EC only, but well, we'd just have to see.

I support this idea. I do agree it might be a little confusing, but maybe the the user's page would have some sort of subtitle saying something like "Previous User _____"

And maybe pings and tags could still be linked to the old username if other users aren't aware of the name change.
