"ya, about a foot of snow....and by the way, i could carry you if you don't want to freeze..."

Blade held back the blush.

Blaze:

"or i could just melt the snow and make paths for us."

Skip was already making a big snow mound so he could slide down it.

Blaze:

*face paw*

Skip:

"omg Blade you gotta slide down this. its really awesome!"

Blade wondered how Skip built that snow mound so tall so fast.

Blade:

"ok!"

Blade started sliding down the mound Skip made. they kept taking turns.

She blushed a little. "Thanks Blade, but then you would freeze." She smiled.

Lucas:
"We should find some dry plants so Blaze can start a fire to keep us warm." He looked at Blade a little cautiously

Foxfeather lay in her nest, curled up in a ball. Ryle was not too far away, over looking the her. Trix was looking outside, taking a bite out of a berry. Vapour was sleeping.

Blade:

"ya....maybe...but you wouldn't...."

Blade still held back the blush.

Blaze started looking around till she found some dry pine needles in the opening of a cave.

Blaze brought them back.

Blaze:

"ok, here guys!"

She set down the pine needles in front of her.

Blade:

"well...i think i've already been close to dying way to much...so i'm starting to feel like it wouldn't matter if i froze...because if i didn't die, then Blaze could thaw me..."

"Oh, don't say that. It's not worth the risk." She looked down shyly

Lucas:
"We'll need some bigger sticks to make the base of the fire." He watched Blade carefully.

Blade noticed Lucas watching him.

Blade:

"well....someone is gonna have to walk through that snow to do stuff....and i'm tough, i can handle it."

Blaze:

"ok."

Blaze looked around and found a HUGE tree, only half of it was covered in snow because it was so big! she saw some dry branches lying at the base of the tree, picked them up, and brought them back.

Blaze:

"how about these?"

she set them down in front of her.

Blaze:

"i'm ready to start a fire when you are."

Blaze noticed Blade talking to Daisy.

Blade:

"watch."

Blade started walking around in to snow and even jumped in a snow drift that Skip made.

Blade walked back over.

Blade:

"see?"

Lucas:
"Yeah." He quickly made the frame of the fire. "Now just light it.

Daisy:
"That's very impressive." She smiled warmly. "But you shouldn't do that to often. You could get frost bite." She noticed that Lucas kept glancing over. "Are you okay Luke?"

Lucas:
"Uh, yeah." He replied quickly

Blade:

"ok."

Blade noticed Lucas glancing at them every once in a while. He felt awkward. Blade didn't say anything.

Blaze used ember on the sticks and there was a small flame.

Blade decided to get some soft leaves so they didn't have to sit in the cold snow. Blade found lots of soft leaves and started spreading them out on the ground in chunks. Blade counted everyone and made that many piles of leaves around the fire.

Blade felt a little cold, but didn't show it. He wanted to be tough.

Blade:

"if you guys want, you can all sit around the fire. you guys can pick spots first. And you can all take some berries before me as well."

Blade felt really generous. Puting others before yourself made you deal with the results, which made you tough.

Lucas:
He nodded slightly. "Thank you." He sat in the farthest away spot and looked into the fire.

Daisy:
"Yeah, thanks!" She grabbed some berries. She sat far enough away from the fire so she wouldn't catch on fire, but close enough so she was warm. "Sit by me Blade, please."

Lucas:
He kept looking into the fire.

Blade still held back the blush. But he knew at one point, he would loose it, and by then his whole face would be red with blush.

Blade:

"ok."

Blade tried to resist the berries, and so far, he succeeded. He tried not to show that he wanted berries really badly.

Blade:

"so what do you guys think of the snow?"

Then, Ivy appeared.

Blade:

"hey, Ivy! hows it going?"

Ivy:

"good."

Ivy could somehow read minds, so she knew what Blade was thinking.

Ivy:

"Blade, do you want some berries?"

Blade:

"no, i think i'll pass."

Ivy:

"are you sure?"

Blade:

"yes! i dont want any right now."

Ivy:

"ok then...."

Ivy also knew he was trying to be tough and he was trying to hold back his blush, but she didn't say those because she thought it would embarrass him.

"Are you sure? If you're worried about wasting the supply, you can have some of mine. I'm not that hungry." She blushed a little and looked down at her feet to hide it. "And the snow is pretty."

Lucas:
"Yes, but it's cold. We have to find another food source, because the berries will disappear." He said plainly.

Then a shinx ghost appeared. The ghost appeared small and frail. It was Mary

Mary:
"Brother!"

Lucas:
"Mary!"

They hugged, and Lucas was trying not to cry.

Skip:

"we do need more food supply...but some of us do or don't only eat meat. what is your plan?"

They all watched as Mary appeared.

Blade, Skip and Blaze went wide eyed.

Blade smiled.

Blade:

"if you want your berries, really, you can have them."

then, Blade blushed, just a little. you could barely tell.

Seeing him blush a little made her blush more. "No, really. Have some."

Mary:
"Brother, who are they?" She asked in little voice, pointing to the other pokemon

Lucas:
"They are my friends. They will help me get off this island.

Mary:
She gave a heartwarming smile. "Good!" Then she tilted her head She could hear her brother's thought's She looked over at Blade, but she didn't say anything. Then she snuggled into her brother. "I'm cold."

Lucas:
"Just stay by the fire. You will be okay." He stroked her head

Trix spotted something not too far away. "Hey guys," she said. "I can see a fire!" Foxfeather lifted her head.

"Really?" She asked.

Ryle stood up, "Should we investigate?"

"Maybe," Foxfeather said, "but someone should stay with Vapour."

"I'll do it," Trix said, looking a bit sad.

"Trix, you go with Foxfeather," Ryle said, "I'll stay here with Vapour."

"Thanks Ryle," Trix said. Foxfeather smiled at Ryle, who blushed.

"Come on," Foxfeather said, walking towards the flame.

Blaze tilted her head at Blade.

Blaze:

Blade came up with a lie to cover up the fact that he was blushing.

Blade:

"i think i've been to close to the fire for to long..."

Skip:

"in that case..."

Skip used water gun on Blade's face.

Blade:

"i think that helped...thanks."

Blade started holding back his blush again, making it look like Skip really did help.

Blade:

"maybe i'll have berries later. we should save those for an emergency."

Blaze and Skip looked at each other.

Blaze:

*whispers to Skip* "you don't think...."

Skip:

*whispers back to Blaze* "ya. i think we're right."

Then, they noticed FoxFeather coming towards them. They had just briefly met her when fighting the Mightyena, maybe they could learn more about her.

They all said hi

He just continued staring into the fire, trying to enjoy time with his sister and not Daisy and Blade.

blade held back his blush like trying to stay behind a stone wall during a tornado. it was possiblle, but really hard.

Blade noticed Foxfeather and got up so he wouldn't feel awkward.

Daisy:
She stayed sitting on the floor, staring at the fire.

Daisy thought that Blade might like her.

Sherbet loved snow. She finally decided it was time to show her face. She walked out and created a snowy roller coaster in front of everyone, then she walked out.

Blaze and blade just stared. Skip's jaw dropped.

skip:

"its beautiful...."

Blade:

"what? the girl or the roller coaster?"

Skip:

"that roller coaster......its....AWESHUM!!"

Skip ran over and climbed to the top and continuously slid down.

blade thought to himself. why a green beartic?

he sat back down at his spot.i think by then, daisy face planted inthe snow.

blaze:

"........he really likes sliding for some reason.........."

Blade:

"we gotta have a battle with that beartic."

Blade ran over.

Blaze:

"me too. come on guys."

skip payed absolutly no attention whatsoever and kept sliding.

blade was weak to ice, but ice was weak to fire. maybe they had an adventage....

Blaze used flamethrower asnd followed it with fire fang.

blade looked around for a moment and then used toxic and followed it with vinewhip.

later, after the battle ended, it was night time.

Blade:

"that was a close call!"

blaze:

"tell me about it.

Skip was still sliding.

blade cimbed up and became a road blocki.

Skip:

"hey, what was that for?"

Blade:

"snap out of it, you can slide later."

Skip;

"ugh, fine."

Skip got off and sat with theothers. blade followed.

Then Ivy appeared.

Blade:

"hey ivy."
Ivy:

"hi, Blade. what do you think of the snow?"

Blade:

"its awesome."

ivy:

"good, because you will probably have snow for about 3-4 more months."

Skip:

"yay!"

Her magic tore down the roller coaster in an instant.
