Dragons of Aldermere {Literate RP}

Storyline: Once upon a time, the six dragon tribes of Aldermere lived in peace. A just and fair queen ruled over them, and they all prospered under her reign. But, unfortunately, the queen soon grew twisted and corrupt, so much the need to control all the dragon kingdoms grew. Up until now, the dragons had had quite enough of this, and the tribes invaded the queen's castle, and defeated her. Finally, Aldermere is in peace again, but now a new threat has risen: Humans.

Just a few weeks ago, a portal opened that led to the human world. The humans promise that they have good intentions, but their ways are strange to the dragons, and tension is starting to sprout up, threatening to engulf the land in hate. Which side are you on?

Types of Dragons:
Watergon: These dragons live in rich sea kingdoms. They can breathe underwater of course, and usually their flight skills are limited due to where they live, even though "water flying" is what they do to get around. Water dragons are usually varying SHADES of blue, green, and purple; they can't breathe fire.

Earthgon: Earthgons like to live in forests, and sometimes underground. They respect the earth, in all it's BEAUTY and ferocity, and have made rules for all Earthgons to follow. One is that they never kill baby animals, except if they're completely starving. Earthgons come in vibrant tones of every color in the rainbow. They can breathe fire, and spit venom.

Firegon: These dragons are just about the most dangerous of them all. Not only can they breathe fire, but can also BURST INTO FLAME. Due to these features, Firegons are natural born fighters, and will launch a full-on attack if threatened. This being the case, Firegons have started many wars with other tribes simply because they're too hot-headed (that pun was totally intentional)! Firegons are varying shades of red, orange, yellow, and sometimes pink.

Airgon: The shyest of the six tribes, Airgons prefer to stay up in their sky kingdoms, away from danger and other dragons. Not much is known about the tribe, just that they can bend wind, and become invisible. Airgons are usually light blue, white, or cream-colored; if you were ever to touch one, you'd find that their scales are almost as soft as fur.

Snowgon: Like Firegons, Snowgons are extremely dangerous. They can create disastrous blizzards and snowstorms in a matter of minutes, and can freeze entire villages with their ice breath. Despite all of this, they are easy-going creatures who would rather make a friend than freeze a villiage. They are mostly white, and have the appearance that icicles are growing out of their back, tail, and talons.

Stargon: The most mysterious of all the dragon tribes, they were almost wiped out by the Corrupt Queen who thought they were too powerful, and would try to rise up against her. Stargons are not only said to be the most mysterious, but the most knowledgable because they dedicate each day of their lives to learning all they can about the world. They now live in the secluded mountains where they can study in peace. Since most of them are basically monks, they are friendly and peaceful, but will fight if nessacary. Stargons are black, dark shades of gray or purple, with tiny white specks spread across their wings. Their only known weapon is fire-breath.

Rules:
-No "invincible" or "perfect" characters allowed
-If you have to fight or kill something, please keep the gore level at a minimum
-You can have up to four characters, JUST PLEASE CONTROL THEM!
-If you're mating, say something like"fades to black/white". No details.
-No controlling other people's characters!
-No mates or crushes with your own characters
-This is a literate RP, so no talkng lik dis.
-Most importantly, have fun!

We may now begin. It is about sun-high in the middle of the summer. All the dragons are doing whatever, and the humans are about to come through the portal, which is in Earthgon territory.

{Commander Margaret}
She sighed, leaning against a tree. Her heart was beating fast, making it hard for her to think clearly.

Just a week ago, a big strange swirling orb called a portal had opened up in Central Park. The area had quickly been contained by the government, and now they were about to enter the portal at the Army`s command. She couldn`t even describe all the emotions going on inside her.

Commander Margaret looked at her watch and then at the excited faces of her crew. "It`s time," she said solemnly.

Merperyan walked slowly through the forest her eyes alert as she kept an eye on Abasardahon as the Earthgon stared out and into his old lands. "What's so interesting?" she asked of her friend.

~Evian~
Evian patiently waited for break. His favorite part of being a Watergon Guard, besides knowing you're protecting your King, is break. During break he and King Bubbles would always chat. Evian had grown up closely to Bubbles, so when an opening for a guard was revealed, Evian was the first to apply. He was the only Guard by the front gate this quarter, so he was rather bored, and he had no one to talk to. But just as he thought about asking King Bubbles for a fellow Guard to chat with, he saw a young Earthgon flying up to him, looking lost and sad. As she landed next to him, Evian yowled, "What are you doing on Watergon land?!" He didn't want to frighten her, but protocol said to show trespassers no kindness. "Well, um, my uh older sisters and brothers don't like me and they think I'm useless so they told me to come here so I'll be locked up and I won't get in anyone's way." She mumbled glumly. "And you listened to them?" Evian asked curiously. "Well, there ARE 14 of them..." She trailed off. "What's your name?" Evian asked her. "Eathelyn." She replied. "Well I'm Evian, and I'm not going to lock you up. Now I'm not saying you won't get fined for trespassing...." "Oh, ok." Eathelyn said, hanging her head. "I was joking !!" Evian exclaimed. Once my break comes, I'll get you home. But first, we need to talk to King Bubbles." And with that, the break bell rang, and he headed to King Bubbles's grand throne room.

He looked up. "Evian, you are one of my best guards, and a good friend. So I'll ask, why do you have a young Earthgon with you? I assume you have a good reason."

@emilianagerson They live in a sort of Artic land. On top of snow-laden cliffs and sometimes deep in caves where it`s warm. Queen Lelania`s giant ice castle is right in the middle. @rustiscool Well, the castle is underwater, so yes. @izziebee1017 @featherstar_stormclan

{Queen Aoloni}
She yawned, fluttering her eyes open. The queen had been sunning herself on a rock in the warm mid-day sun. Apparently, she had fallen into a light sleep.

Queen Aoloni looked to either side of at the guards. Their eyelids were drooping, and she could tell they were fighting against exhaustion. "You two can go back to the castle," she said kindly, gently shaking them awake. "I`ll be fine."

Frowning slightly, they reluctantly flew away.

{Commander Margaret}
She stood up and walked over to the portal. With her back to it, she faced her soldiers and began to speak, "I don`t know what we`re going to find in there, but I trust you soldiers to calmly and professionally deal with it. The government is counting on us. Are you ready?"

Merperyan glanced up as she heard something off to the side. "I'm still uncomfortable with how close we are to Earthgon territory Abasardahon. Maybe we should get moving?" she said shifting uncomfortably as she saw two Earthgons take to the sky.

"We're fine for now. We aren't in their land, they won't harm us. Stop worrying so much."

@rustiscool Sorry, I forgot about that. Let's just say Evian put Eathelyn in a bubble so she can breathe, but the bubble follows Evian. And Evian and the other guards guard the above water entrance, since only Watergons can get in the underwater entrance.

~Evian~
"Your Majesty," Evian began, kneeling before King Bubbles, and he signaled Eathelyn to do so too. "This young Earthgon has strayed to our territory, I am asking your permission to fly her home. I know protocol states that we must force trespassers off our land, but this one, she is young, and she doesn't seem like a troublemaker. I know this might damage my reputation as a guard, or even our friendship," Evian sighed sadly. "But I feel it is the right thing to do."

~Eathelyn~
Once Eathelyn heard the Watergon king call the guard Evian, she figured that must be his name. "Unique name," Eathelyn thought, "But then my name is Eathelyn, so...." As Evian and King Bubbles discussed her, he saw King Bubbles looking her up and down, as if analyzing her next move and what her thoughts might be. Evian, on other talon, when he looked at her, she saw compassion and good nature. A flash of guilt suddenly racked Eathelyn. What if her foolishness caused Evian to get demoted?

~Delilah~
Delilah biked aimlessly through her neighborhood park, devising a plan. She heard about the portal discovered that lead to a completely different continent, filled with dragons. She yearned to go there, but her father would never let her, and they didn't have enough money. So Delilah decided she needed to go alone. She would have to sneak out. Besides, it was better to get out of her father's way, right? He never had enough time to talk to her anyways.

As Akila flew to King Zepar's castle, she wondered if this was a foolish plan. Why would a king let a young dragon investigate the portal? But it was too late to turn back now.

The king looked him up and down, then nodded. "You are good to help this little one even when it might effect you poorly. Don't worry, this won't get out to the other guards. And it will certainly not effect our friendship. Besides, this might put us on Earthgon's good side, which would be good. I hear a portal or something opened over there. Check that out too." And with that, he gestured to the door.

Evian tried to remain calm and not let his excitement show. "Thank you your highness." He said. And he left the palace. Once he broke the surface, he willed the bubble to pop and Eathelyn hovered above him. As he took flight, he talked with Eathelyn. "So, don't your parents know your siblings are bullying you?" Evian asked. "Well, yes, but my mother agrees with them. She thinks too much compassion is weakness and she wants to change the Earthgon rules." "What about your father?" "He died a little after I was born." "Oh, I'm sorry." Evian said sadly. After that they flew in silence. Eventually they crossed the Earthgon border and after around a half an hour of flying in Earthgon territory they ran into a sky blue Airgon dragon. After regaining her balance she bolted. "Follow her!" Evian yelled. But before any of them could get far, they were stopped by an Earthgon guard. "HALT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON EARTHGON LAND?" The Guard bellowed. "I am here to return this one." Evian said, gesturing to Eathelyn. "I am also here to investigate the portal on behalf of King Bubbles. With the permission of Queen Aoloni of course. And we literally ran into her just moments ago." Evian said, turning to the Airgon. "We don't know her." "You are Evian of the Watergons I presume." The Guard said, "and I know you." He said to Eathelyn. "Now who are you?" He said, turning to the Airgon, but she had speedily flown away. "Follow her!" The Guard screeched. After a long chase, they caught up to her and surrounded her, forcing her to land. "I swear I didn't mean any trouble, I just wanted to see the portal, and the only reason I fled was because I can't go to jail, my dad would be so disappointed, I can't make him ashamed of me. And I-" "Wait!" Evian interrupted the nervous Airgon's rambling. "What's your name?" "I am Akila." "That's it, everybody follow me!" The Guard yelled. "We're going to the portal."

@izziebee1017 Delilah really needs to hurry up! @rustiscool @featherstar_stormclan @emilianagerson Just to be clear, none of the dragons know about the portal yet, and the humans have not gone into the portal so they would not know it was full of dragons. But, just because I don`t want to waste more time waiting for some dragon to discover the portal, I will just say one of the Earthgon guards did.

She suddenly heard an explosion of sounds. Interested and surprised, Queen Aoloni followed the commotion to find a collection of dragons in the middle of the forest.

"What is the meaning of this?!" she roared.

{Zenobia}
"Ahh, I love spring," Zenobia murmured to herself as she laid down on the soft grass.

She had been collecting flowers and idly turning them into flower chains in her own secret meadow when her ear flicked up. Something seemed to be happening in the distance.

Shrugging to herself, she walked through a few bushes to collect more flowers, and found herself standing in front of two rouges.

"What are you two doing so close to the border? Especially her!" she hissed, pointing with her tail to the Firegon.

The rouge firegon/airgon mix walked through the firegon forest. She hoped nobody saw her, because she didn't feel like answering dumb questions today. She was starving and tired. But she kept walking on.

She drew herself up, and looked at both of the dragons with what she hoped was hostility. "Yes, there is no laws for passing borders." she said. "I`m just concerned for the safety of other Earthgons who are near the border. After all, what can you except from a crazy Firegon? But then again, you couldn`t possibly be a match for a Earthgon, such as I. " Zenobia added with a sniff of disdain.

I took in a breath and laid down, chin resting on the ground. I breathed heavily, watching small flakes of snow fly off the ground and fall around my face. I looked around the icy land, taking in the rather lovely sight of it.

"Calm down, you don't want to start a fight here do you?" Abasardahon whispered as he stepped next to the Firegon, watching his former tribe mate warily.

"You do you always go picking fights with others who have done you no harm?" he demanded.
