Adiel faltered at Cynthia's question, "Well, I haven't really thought that far ahead yet. Wait a minute, that's a lie, I have an idea!" Rummaging through he stack of games, Adiel pulled the box containing 'Twister' from its perch. "For the 'Get To Know You Game', now patented as of this second by yours truly, we'll need to sit in a circle."
They paused for a moment, "We should probably sit on the floor or pull up another chair if everyone wants to play. Anyway, going clockwise around the circle, whoever's turn it is will come up with a question, declare it, and then spin the spinner. Whoever the spinner points to will have to answer the question. This continued until we don't want to play anymore, and we can also modify the rules if anyone wants." Nodding at their idea and ability to think on the spot, Adiel let the verdict fall to everyone else to decide if they would play or not.
Ellis was a little too distracted by other conversation to really say if he wanted to play. Except not really, but if Adiel asked that's what he would say. Why would the girl ask if they needed light? The ceiling lights seemed to be working just fine. Unless... wait a minute. She was making a pun, wasn't she. Ellis had heard rumors about a girl lighting someone's pants on fire, but it wasn't her, was it?
Not that Ellis had that much time to dwell on the question when everyone started asking about sounds. His gut wrenched when Cassandra suggested investigating. Bad idea. Bad idea! Had none of these girls seen a horror movie in their life? Didn't they know that going to the noise was usually the worst coarse of action? At least Cynthia had some common sense. Ellis wasn't going, no he wasn't. Dare or not, he wasn't about to get possessed because of some stupid curiosity.
"I'm not going," Ellis stated, "I think it's a bad idea."

"Have you ever seen a girl do this?" she closed her hand in a fist and immediately, her fist went on fire.

"Okay, okay. I get it, its a bad idea." Cassandra said raising her hands up like she was under arrest. "Lets play!" She said quickly changing the subject.


"Not that impressive." She said smuggly but her tone told that she was joking around.

"Yes!" Adiel cheered, and then lowering their volume said, "I mean yes!" They didn't want to wake the other people in the dormitory. Or get scolded again.
Ellis gave a sigh of relief. No matter how much he didn't want to play the game, it was better than investigating what those noises were. Probably.
Then Amber set a fire in the middle of her hand, and Ellis's suspicions for confirmed. He just hoped she wasn't a pyromaniac.
Adiel pulled another chair and smiled at Amber, "I'm Adiel, nice to meet you!" They placed the spinner in the middle of the table and waited for Amber to join them.
"Who wants to go first?"

Starlight was getting worried i felt if his sister just disappeared shoe called her nothing so he kept trying over and over till someone picked it up.

Arui woke up due to the loud "Yes!" in the common room. Going outside, the spirit possessed her again, her eyes turning red. Going outside, she decided to go back, even though it was too late.
"What are you guys doing here this late?" Arui yawned, looking at the group. She then went to the nearest empty couch and sat on it.

Whatever Nira was doing was they are sleeping and dreaming about fighting this evil spirit's true form. That dream dozed off and they forgot all about it. Hearing the door open and close, Nira woke up and decided to follow Arui.
"Arui? What are you doing here in the middle of the night? Almost half of the world is asleep!"

Arui glared at Nira. "What are you doing here...? Shouldn't you be sleeping?!" She stood up from the couch. An aura of darkness surrounded Arui, until it left her body, becoming a humanoid form in the common room.
"Why don't you get away from this place?! Don't you have anything better to do than just follow me?! Quit trying to attack and attack me, because that's the only instinct you got, little fox!"

Nira's nine tails came back, as their fox ears began to pop out of their head. "First of all, this is a common room; and there are people here. You can either make a little bit of noise, or you can just leave." Nira pointed to the exit of the dorm, then the humanoid began to grow demon-like wings, and attempted to take Nira. They dodged like a fox, and picked up Arui, who was unconscious again. Going to the nearest safe area, they carefully dropped Arui on the floor. The spirit attempted to possess Nira, but quickly dodged. "Quit trying to possess people if you want to fight! And at the first day of school?! Why not try in a hundred days or so?!" Nira then turned into a fox without warning, and began to dodge swiftly, trying to not make any mess.

Arui woke up, seeing Nira as a fox. "So she is a gumiho...!" Arui carefully ran away, trying to escape from the spirit before it could find her. She ran to her room, hiding in her bed. Quickly grabbing her phone from the nightstand, she began to post something in her blog, which was for anybody with powers like her.
Something strange happening in school; please help.
She posted that message, and remained awake.

"Sorry Arui if we woke you up and you to miss." She apologized to them. "Anybody knows what time it is?" She worried a little bit, but didn't care at the same time. Cynthia saw the creature with demon-like wings and it took Arui away somewhere else. "Should we do something about this?" She asked worried even more.

Nira attempted to slam the spirit down to the ground, but it then used its chains to bind themselves to the ground.
"A gumiho harboring a human? Is that the best you can do?!"
Nira turned themselves back into a gumiho again. "No it isn't..." Nira attempted to grab something out of theif pocket, which was a small cylinder. They raised it in the air, turning into a dual sided spear. They began to turn into a fox to escape, and became a gumiho again. Grabbing the dual sided spear, Nira tries to take the spirit outside the school by pushing them out of the windows nearby. When it was outside the window, Nira jumped out, became a fox, and rammed it to the ground causing the spirit to lose control of flight whilst jumping to the window again, turning into a human.
"That's just the beginning..." Nira said as they walked to the common room again. Their eyes began to glow after saying that, then they floated in the air.
"Dark forces has came from the darkest depths and will come back for revenge after a guardian has sealed them away. They will take over the school, then the town, then the continent, and the entire planet will be taken over. They won't be able to do so unless they possess a host powerful enough to be unstoppable. The only solution to this is to destroy it without killing the host, and attack its true form, where it will destroy anybody with ease. As a gumiho, this person has signed a contract to help stop the forces when they were a child. I never knew the spirit could find Nira... But that isn't the only thing they're looking for, the spirit wants to find the artifact that has sealed them, and use it against us. Once all of the gifted are sealed away, there will be nobody left to stop them..." Nira then harshly landed on the floor, unconscious.

"That's fine! I can go first if no one else wants to." Adiel said. They were quiet for a moment, trying to think of an obscure question. Gears turning, Adiel's face lit up, "I've got it! If you were a dead animal on the side of the road, what would you be and why?"

Before they could spin the dial, Arui entered the common room. Adiel was about to greet her when another girl entered the room and they got into a brief verbal spat. And then Arui went all weird and black glowy-glowy stuff was surrounding her before a person emerged. That most definitely wasn't her power, Ellis had said she had lightning manipulation.

"Ads?" Ellis tentatively said, drawing into himself more and more with each passing second. Oh god, what was that? What the heck was that thing that came out of Arui. Ellis was never really good at picking up on signals, but malice and ill-intent rolled off of the thing in waves and Ellis felt his stomach roll and churn and he felt as though he would get sick.

Adiel was by his side in an instant. "It'll be alright, you'll be alright." they murmured, keeping their voice soft and soothing. Ellis's gaze was locked on the- the thing, and he repeatedly scratched at the soft skin behind his ear.

"Hey, hey, look at me." Adiel said, gently taking his friend's shoulders and turning Ellis so that he faced them. His eyes flitted rapidly, never locking onto Adiel's for long. Out of the corner of their own eye, Adiel carefully watched the fight, muscles tense and ready to spring into action. "Ellis."

They waited, and when Ellis finally was able to maintain eye contact, Adiel gave him a soft smile. "Good, you're doing good. Just keep looking at me. Just breathe."

Oh yeah, the important life function, how could he forget? Even as Ellis focused on that, his breaths were staggered and uneven. Adiel said, "Just look at me, don't worry about what's going on," There was a crash and Ellis flinched, his scratching becoming more fervent, "Just look at me. I'll protect you, no matter what. You believe me, right?"

Ellis gave a quick, jerky nod, and then both his and Adiel's attention was stolen by the person floating in the air. They didn't seem like they were a threat, but Adiel was still on edge over the apparition.

After they had fallen, Adiel gave a strained laugh. "Well that was an ominous message," they joked, even as it hung heavy of their head, "And at least I don't have to worry about being possessed. But, uh, what should we do about them?"

"Do you think it's too late to drop out?" Ellis muttered, "It's only the first day, it shouldn't be too hard to transfer to another school."

Nira opened her eyes, already a gumiho. Looking at the remaining group, their eyes would glow. "Don't tell this to anybody. If the spirit were to hear, it will know where we are and what our job is to be. Nira here... They need to be protected, so does Arui, and all the others. You can never speak of this to anybody." A ball of darkness appeared from the tail in the middle, swirling around and such. "One whisper, and the entire school is doomed." The gumiho then let go of control, causing Nira to try and fall again, but gained balance. "Please listen to her. I had to make a contract with her if I wanted to save the race. She is one of the last remaining gumihos in the world, and she couldn't be alive without me..."

Cynthia decided it was enough for one night. "I'm going to my dorm. I think it's that's enough for one night." she quietly said. As she walked to her dorm. Cynthia laid on her bed and tried to sleep it took her a long time to fall asleep. Then finally she fell asleep.

Cassandra did the same. Her wings drooped as she walked to her dorm. She tripped over an old book. It was so heavy she picked it up and carried it to her dorm.

Amber was heading to her dorm when she tripped over something.
"Ow!" suddenly she heard a loud,creepy laugh. She got up and set fire to her hand.
"Who's there?" she was answered by silence.

i think starlight needs his dorm to be shared like the rest.

starlight did not know what to do after the 100 time he tried to call her. his head started to pound over and over till he could not take it anymore. FLASH! he was a dragon! the pain was still there, he could not take it anymore! he ran down the halls and right outside and he was roaring in pain. he heard a loud,creepy laugh.then he blacked out and fell on the ground.

Nira decided it was better if she slept as well. She arrived at her dorm, and opened. A creepy laugh was heard far away, but she didn't care.
"Hey, 'Rui, still awake? That monster isn't going to get us anytime soon. You better sleep, though, this isn't the last day of school."

Arui was already asleep.

The spirit didn't pass through the ground like it normally did, but instead passed out outside the school, unconscious.

"What!? Woh! You can control fire! That's awesome!" Dash shouted.
"Shhhhhhhh!" Amber pushed her back into the dorm.

starlight kept seeing this weird ghost or something and it whispering something was this a dream? ( yes it is starlight. )

She checked and saw that it was about 3:00 A.M. Then she heard a laughter too. She put her glasses on , then she walked out of her dorm very sleep from what happened. She walked to find to get a drink of water. She saw a boy not sure if he was asleep or something. "Are you alright?" Cynthia asked.
